Im just so confused

Please help me😂 am I deluding myself that there is a chance I may still be pregnant despite a negative test this morning? (see apps)
I have had a bit of back ache and rib pain. Had a little bit of spotting when i wiped aboit 3 or 4 days ago but did not come to anything.
I just wish my period would start or id know i was pregnant by now.

I don't want to get your hopes up (because I did this to myself a lot!) but it's possibly too early for a positive test.
The spotting could maybe have been an implantation bleed but 3/4 days might not be quite long enough for a positive - I waited 5 days then tested which was negative. Tested again at 7 days after the spotting and there was the faintest line I'd ever seen so waited another few days before testing again.. it was agonising!
