I think I’m having a miscarriage

I’ve known I was pregnant for almost two weeks now, my last period was the first of January so I should be just over four weeks. It was all going okay, until just recently. The night before yesterday I had sex, it was quite deep penetrative sex. When I went to clean up, I noticed very light pink spotting, it worried me a bit but I’ve heard it was normal so I just went to bed. All night though I dreamt of losing the baby, and when I woke up, I had bloody discharge. As the day progressed it got much worse, it wasn’t filling a pad but there was a lot wiping off, bright red blood and then thick bloody discharge like a period.

I did have cramps but they weren’t painful, just uncomfortable. I went to the ER and they took my blood and urine, everything came back okay but they said my HCG levels were low, only 60 when they should be higher, so that along with the bleeding was a concern. I had booked a prenatal appointment for Wednesday, so they told me to wait till then and try not to worry, that I could still have a healthy pregnancy. Today isn’t any better, the cramps are still coming and going, I feel nauseous with fever, and there’s a lot of blood.

I feel certain I’m having a miscarriage as this just can’t be right. I’m so devastated. A last hope question, but has anyone experienced similar and still had a healthy pregnancy?

It doesn't look good, although there is still a small chance everything is okay. This happened to my colleague (she was further along, almost 3months), and all was well. She had a lot of on-and-off bleeding, especially after any kind of exercise.

She was signed off work for 2 months but came back after that and now she's nearing the end of her pregnancy, baby's healthy.

That gives me a bit of hope, but yeah I don’t think it’s going to make it. Everyone around me is telling me I’m being negative and it’ll be okay, but I know my body. As much as it hurts to admit, I know I’m losing it, I just want that tiny bit of hope left I suppose.

Hi OP.
At this early stage, and with such low HCG, yes, I think this is a miscarriage. Probably a chemical pregnancy.
I'm very sorry. I've had a lot myself and it's just horrible.

Thank you for your reply, and sorry for your losses. I’m in my early twenties but I had a hard time getting pregnant, it took me a while, and while I worried about the chance of miscarriage, I guess I thought it wouldn’t happen to me because of my young age and health. I was wrong though.

I think I'm having one too, started with back ache last night, brown spotting then blood when wipe just before

I think I'm in the same boat. 7 plus 4 today but severe back pain last week. Ultrasound confirmed bleeding in uterus but internally. I hadn't had any bleeding. At that point. They also saw heartbeat and baby was measuring in line with my dates.
But now today I have a bit of pain back and pink blood when I wipe.
I hate the limbo. Swinging between hoping for the best and then trying to accept that it will end in miscarriage so I can start the process of moving on.
Sorry for anyone in the same situation now, it sucks
