Hi everyone, took this test @ 15 days since missed period.
Ive heard of indent lines before and am not sure whether this is one. It’s so faint that it’s difficult to photograph but I wanted to know can anyone else see it or has anyone had a similar experience with a very faint line and ended up being pregnant? I’m guessing the line should be a lot darker? I am now at 20 days since missed period and have pregnancy symptoms

I can see something, but for 20 days past missed period you would be nearly 6-7 weeks pregnant based on when you ovulated and there would be a definite line, it’s potentially an indent line. All you can do is test again in a couple of days and if it was something then in 2 days time it would definitely be darker. i hope you get the news you want ☺️

husbandcallsmepickle · 05/02/2023 07:40

I'd just try again with a different test

ThomasinaLivesHere · 05/02/2023 07:52

I’d try different tests too.

Renren28 · 05/02/2023 12:01

Hey, thank you, this test was done at 15 days past missed period but I’m now at 20 days late and going to test again tomorrow. I agree I thought it would be darker but have also read of others not getting a positive until at least 3 weeks after their missed period so I guess time will tell
I don’t have any other reasons that I’m aware of for a missed period so it’s a little confusing

Hello fingers crossed for you 🤞🏽
the only thing I can think of is an anovulatory cycle this month.. did you confirm ovulation with opk or BBT? As if you didn’t ovulate you maybe wouldn’t have had a period.. so keep an eye on things as you may go straight into a new fertile window x

Renren28 · 05/02/2023 12:58

I am using an app to track my ovulation according to my last period. Apparently I ovulated January 3rd. Last period was 18th December. I never considered an anovulatory cycle but that would make sense if my tests don’t get darker! Are there any other tests you would recommend or are FRER the most reliable? Thanks

Hi there.
FRER are the most reliable.
For 20 days late, that test line is far too light.
You should have a dye stealer by now if this was a viable pregnancy.

TTC0123 · 05/02/2023 14:05

Unless you have tracked ovulation by opk or BBT you can’t determine ovulation by an app unfortunately, they have been a week out for me before so I wouldn’t go by this at all. Get clear blue ovulation kit or easy@home strips and start testing every day until you know roughly when your peak is! Good luck x

Just an update, todays test, any opinions?

I can see something! Maybe test with a frer?

amberjoleaf · 06/02/2023 08:54

I don't know OP. Have you had any hint of a bleed? At 20 days after a missed period you'd have an ultra strong line. I can't see anything on the first test but can on the second.

Can you get to the GP for bloods? Is this the first time you've tested? I'm wondering if you were pregnant and miscarried. (Sorry if I'm being insensitive) but to have such a faint line at how many dates you're late, would mean the pregnancy would've have JUST started / embryo had just implanted, which I doubt can happen at 20 DPO.

I'd get to the docs for blood tests or book a private early scan.

Renren28 · 06/02/2023 09:01

Hi there,
Ive had absolutely no bleeding since my last period which was before Christmas! The first time I tested was 5 or 6 days ago with the original test photo and this test is from today which is 21 days since missed period. I really don’t know what to think as no sign of period either, I have a doc appt on Thurs morning so will request bloods to be done

Cuppasoupmonster · 06/02/2023 09:03

It’s possible if you ovulated very very late. Either way time for bloods at the GP, as sometimes multiple faint tests can mean ectopic. But I hope it isn’t and it’s the result you want!

Kellsbellz · 02/03/2023 22:30

Hi could anyone tell me what they think about these first response pregnancy tests please ..

Hiya new to this so not sure if I’m even posting right. But just wanted another opinion, is this positive? Had an early miscarriage last month and have been having negatives this passed 4 weeks, however this morning when I tested there was this. Should I take it as a positive?

@LFD123 Absolutely positive in my opinion.. did you do more tests?

Isthisreallydoable · 16/11/2023 23:57

Hi @Renren28 I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant and didn't get a positive pregnancy test until I was 17 days late on my period. The doctor said I must have just ovulated later than usual hence the late positive result so maybe thats what's happened to you! I was still getting negative tests even 15 days after my missed period! I'd definitely keep testing if I were you! Best of luck x

ttcandhopeful · 08/02/2024 22:36

Could this be a vvvv faint line or just an indent? I’m either 11 or 12 dpo
