1postive test, 1 negative and 1 I'm not sure if my imagination is making me see a line......I need MN now.

Urbandryad started this for me last night and I went to bed feeling happy but a little freaked out.

tested agin this morning and its definatly negative on the 1st test.

tested again at luchtime with a diff brand (both have give early +ve results in the past for me) and I think its negative but as it ssooo early I'm thinking maybe its only just picking up the HcG hormones.

I'm not due on for over a week I should know better then to test this early but I had a strange feeling last night so tested and it was positive.

Do you think I've had one of the freaky false positive results?

how clear was the positive last night? did the line appear immediately? what colour was the line?

It is very very early to test positive even if you are pregnant.

if it's clear enough to show up on a photo, then it's probably positive.

line appeared, but V faint within the test time ( 2 mins I think) nd got darker to show a proper line with 15 minutes or so.

I know it stupidly early to test, but I OV very early and have had a few symptons (but also some that would say I'm not PG). I just had a stroung feeling to test last night and it appeared +Ve

ok, i posted on that thread

you can get a BFP if there is HcG in your urine.

i don;t think there is such a thing as a false positive

unless it was an evaporation line or you read the test wrong.

if you are not due on for a week, then you can get false negatives. also, if your wee is very dilute or you don;t use a first wee of the day you might get a false negative.

i thikn you need to wait at least a week and test again.

i went to the docs about this once and he told me that you could get a false negative but you could never get a false postive

have fished the test out of bin (yuk) and taken photo.

lets see if it shows up on the screen...hang on while i download it

so why are the 2 today showing -ve? could it be a super super sensitive test last night? a faulty test?

Ohhh bloody hell. I hate this. We were trying, although only briefly, Dh thinks were mad to have more so is having a wobble.
But it was his idea to bloody start with so I don't see how he can be faffing now.

I'm guessing the test last night was more sensitive.

If I were you I would wait a couple of days, do another test and it should be darker.

i thikn you should try and wait until at least you are due AF
