Conception? Ovulation? Help!

Hello!
I’ve been doing ovulation tests and tracking in the flo app, also working on what discharge I have etc
last week I thought I was ovulating, me and partner dtd and day after had a bit of spotting.
not sure if sound science but this happened when I was pregnant with my dd so took it as a sign I guess lol
took a pregnancy test yesterday because I have no self control and it was negative. Took an ovulation test and it was positive for ovulating.

im so confused, am I ovulating late ? Or again? What?

Does the spotting happen often after sex? The day after would have been too early for any implantation bleeding, that wouldn’t happen until at least 6dpo.

Did you get a peak on your ovulation test? Sometimes you can get a high reading in the tests several times throughout your cycle where your body gears up but doesn’t release an egg. Same with EWCM can happen several times. So you could be ovulating now, some people also get a slightly higher reading just before their period. I’ve been using the premom app as it helps read your ovulation tests.

what cycle day are you on and how long are your cycles usually?

The earliest you’d likely pick up a positive on a pregnancy test is 10dpo.

@Twoinapod No not at all, only time that’s happened I found out I was pregnant with my daughter a few weeks after,
Period was on the 15-20th, usually a 30 ish cycle. Thought I ovulated cycle day 13, which was when the app predicted, but got a positive ovulation cycle day 19. To be fair before hand it was a bit faint but still strong so maybe I did just ovulate late. But I had all my ovulating discharge then aswell hence my confusion haha
