Hi everyone; I ducked out of these threads sometime ago as my
mental health was crashing; I’m older at 39, we’d had 2 m/c and had been trying for numerous cycles without anything sticking but… yesterday we got our bfp. I’m 4 weeks I think. Praying it stays put.

I’m pretty sure I’ve come down with a bug as I’ve got all day morning sickness that’s come on today only feeling rough and hoping desperately that it’s a bug and not all day morning sickness!

I’ve actually got a thread going in pregnancy topic as it’s the best news for
us as our little family but at a time when the wider family - parents - are receiving the worst news.

Summary: If it’s not happening, keep trying, keep an eye on your mental health, seek help if you need it. But don’t write yourself off.

@Floralsandsmiles im perky today because think I’m gonna start ov testing from tomo morning so it feels like I can kinda start doing something again, it’s been the most dragged out wait this time! How are you feeling? When is AF due / testing day? Xxx

I'm feeling bloated and crampy and hopeful.. although I'm worried I'm setting myself up for a fall.. AF is due on 12th I think, maybe later as ovulation was later than I thought. Xxxx

Thank you all for your well wishes, ive been on cloud nine today and ive hardly done any work. Since I can't drink anymore now, that's been my way of celebrating :)

@2021lady I don't blame you for being impatience, if you dont mind my asking, if you havent done any yet, were you planning on doing an investigations?

@Bigfamilylife wow that is one lovely line :D how many DPO are you?

@Seasidegirll still a wee while left of your tww but hopefully itll whizz by. I got myself a puppy a few cycles back and she has been the best distraction. And yes, after it was mentioned earlier on here about female orgasms, I did after he did every time we dtd. That may have done it, it may not, cant know

@CN1126 oh no! I am sorry to hear of your mcs. Yes progesterone could be an issue or it could have just been down to chromosomal abnormalities, which you simply cant do anything about. what do the doctors say?

@Sb86 thank you that makes sense. I am getting a lot of cramping, but it could also be psychological. Seems like a lot is contracting and expanding at the minute. How about your cramps, have they calmed down?

@bbypinkluffie hope af stays away, but at 16 dpo sounds like youre late? You should get a pretty definitive answer if you were to test? By the way I had no symptoms and still don’t really, so its hard to judge by that if that's whats going through your mind?

I am sorry to hear of your mmc… no wonder you are anxious. I am anxious too due to my age (38) By when would you say youll feel more relaxed about it all? the 12 week mark?

@NatGee I remember last time I was pregnant before I got my BFP at 14dpo I could have sworn my af was going to arrive due to the cramping.

Cramping doesn't seem as bad today, I've felt it but I'm probably noticing it a lot more because I'm scared 💩less that somethings going to go wrong. Our bodies are wonderful but my god they don't have put us through it!

How are you feeling apart from the cramps? Still in shock I bet!

Mmmm well it depends on if I have managed to convinced myself enough that I'm pregnant during the tww.. then I will test early.. lol however DH has made me promise not to this time... so looks like I may have to hold out till the 12th... haha (or as long as I can till then!) 😅 xxxx

I've had blood tests to check everything is OK hormonally
I am ovulating fine etc
Husband is yet to have his sperm checked tho but he does have performance issues. He's a bit of a stress head so it affects how often he can finish which I think is our main issue really
We have an almost 3 year who I breastfed for 2 years so I think that also played some part in my body not getting pregnant again
We've just adapted the if it happens it happens mentality now rather than actively trying as that was causing too much strain I think
This month hubby seems to have got his groove back in the bedroom department but I was unless all my fertile week but we managed one time so I'm.not hopeful but let's see

I think k my OPK is positive today which would be a day earlier than expected. I hope it gets stronger and inoculate on Sunday as planned

Just done another, 0.96 on premom. Definitely stronger. Oh well, looking like a CD12 ovulation this cycle!

@Sb86 yeah thats how it feels for me, really crampy, and also overthinking it because i know how early it is and what can go wrong... oh well, what will be, will be
otherwise im feeling good, not so much shocked, just pleased. We'd been trying for a while that it all feels surreal. I think ill believe it when the bump starts showing.
Hope these next few days in the lead up to your AF due date go by quickly and you join the pregnancy forums :)

@Peaceandloves hahah I know the feeling! I'm going away for thr weekend so not taking tests with Me meaning if I go for FMU Monday (10DPo) is the earliest I can test. My last positive (resulted in a MMC) showed on a FRER ar 11DPO so Monday could be too early but hey!

@NatGee to be honest I don’t think I’ll relax until maybe past 20 weeks and can feel baby moving etc. I hope I will be able to relax and enjoy it. Hope you do too. It can be such an anxiety inducing time but important to try and enjoy too

7dpo now and pretty sure I'm.out based on the pms symptoms I'm getting.
Especially the mood changes and irritability I usually get the week before af. So annoyed
