@Fallulah i have heard good things about vitamin C and B12 so I might join you on that one! I said to other half we were unsure between magnesium and zinc for him, when I went into Holland & Barrett to chat about the benefits for each, the girl seemed very sure that zinc was the way to go for him - I’m going to Google magnesium now as I hope she hasn’t told us wrong! Oooo what is a testing kit / test holder?! I’ve never heard of them so wouldn’t like to give you false advise - I’m guessing if they are clean they are good to continue using but I’m not 100% sure what they are

@Floralsandsmiles have you been DTD throughout just in case the tests have missed it? When did you start testing like the cycle day as I have heard of people ovulating on day 9/10 so could it have happened before you tested? I get you feel sad, it’s almost like a month off when you didn’t want one, and you probably feel helpless. I hope everything is all good and you get your static tomorrow. I’ve heard good things about vitamin D and my Google research says it’s only a good thing! There is nothing to lose from taking it lovely - anything to help the chances ey. Aw thanks lovely, sending you big hugs back 🤗🤗🤗 xxx

@MilkyAndFluffy yep we have DTD throughout the fertile period! I have been testing since CD4 on strips and using the CB aswell since CD10 where u had x2 days of the empty circle and then it turned go flashy smile! Lol
Yes, thats fair enough, I will add vitamin D to my list too then! Lol thanks for the hugs back! Xxx

MilkyAndFluffy · 26/02/2023 20:31

@Floralsandsmiles you really have had flashy smile for such a long time - I’ll be thinking of you and praying tomorrow is static day lovely! Xxxxx

@MilkyAndFluffy it really is driving me a little mad! Lol xxx

Fallulah · 26/02/2023 20:56

@MilkyAndFluffy I think there is also zinc in the hormone support tablets my OH is taking. The magnesium was nothing to do with fertility really - we just read that it might make us a bit more awake!

Sorry with the kits I meant the strips you dip in your wee and the holder as in the bit that gives you the flashy faces! But, it appears I have actually thrown out the holders so I will need a new one if I’m going to torment myself by going down that road again!

Mummyme87 · 27/02/2023 07:00

I haven’t bought anymore CB digital test sticks. Im just going to stick with the easy@home I think. It just didn’t add anything for me apart from something else to test.

CD7… this bit is dragging. I expect to ovulate on Sunday.

Sierra26 · 27/02/2023 07:31

Congrats to all those who have their BFPs!

long post alert

I’m 11DPO, CD27. Spent all weekend with a pregnant family member so it was very intense baby chat and, after waking up on Sun to the start of my normal 2-3 days pre AF spotting, I’m feeling a bit down in the dumps. Just want the next stage of my life to start.

Anyway took a FRER last night l, as my doc told me I might still spot even if I do get pregnant.

it was 100% negative after 3 mins, but I took it apart (cus why not) and left the strip on the side for a couple of hours.

when I went back I could see a line, and it’s still there this morning. I swear it has colour, which would mean some HCG has been detected. And it’s not disappeared once fully dry. Pic below.

my temp dropped this morning so I’m pretty sure im not pregnant, but could I have caught a chemical?

my theory right now is that I could be implanting but my spotting could be a sign of progesterone dropping early (day 21 pdg test was okay level but not amazing) and losing it.

this is 4th cycle trying and first using FRER, so maybe this has been happening each time and I’ve just caught it this time… Easy@home test is blank and I don’t have another FRER.

anyone have similar stories? I’m dying to get my hands on pdg supplement, but my private gynae didn’t think it was an issue. Might buy proov tests for next month just to track pdg levels through luteal, or see if there’s another way to track it beyond just one test!

@Chellooo congratulations. Lovely lines x

Floralsandsmiles · 27/02/2023 09:57

@MilkyAndFluffy still flashing smile! Day 10!!
However... Omg I calculated from the day of spotting and it was 9 days for me! When normally it's about 4- days.. I could have calculated my whole cycle wrong!!! So I may not be on CD21, I may be CD15!! And still be in for a shot for the LH levels to rise and O to happen??
How are you feeling today? Xxxxx

TunnocksTCake · 27/02/2023 09:59

Wow so much to catch up on! Congratulations @Maxime34 and @Chellooo such amazing news!!
@sierra26 I think I'm in the same boat... I did that Wondfo on Friday and had a vvvfl and continued to have vvvfl over the weekend on Saturday, didnt test sunday then this morning did a CB digital ultra early and a CB early normal line test (couldnt get hold of a FRER grrr!) and both were negative. Think I must have had a chemical, I'm 14dpo now and af due tomorrow so theres still a chance but its v unlikely with those tests... Boobs still feel like balloons but not as painful as they were. I am SO glad I had a busy weekend away where I coudlnt test obsessively and my mind was taken off it.
Did your line come up within the 3 minutes?
Sometimes these things happen and its not to do with pdg, its just an incompatible egg and sperm. I had 2 chemicals in a row then conceived my daughter the following month and made no changes.

Natty83 · 27/02/2023 10:41

Yesterday all opks looked a little darker but still negative so I thought I might be seeing a surge on it's way but this morning it was back to super faint. Really don't think I'm ovulating this month, but onwards and upwards. Can't see that I've missed it testing twice a day (three times yesterday) - usually I'm positive for 2 days

Mummyme87 · 27/02/2023 10:51

@Sierra26 if it was out of the 3min window it’s not valid, even more so that it was out of the casing and left to fry for a few hours. Lots of tests including FRER get lines that are not positives if you leave them long enough, it doesn’t mean there is HCG present unfortunately

Seasidegirll · 27/02/2023 10:58

Congratulations @Chellooo!! look at those lines 🤩. Wishing you the best of luck for a healthy pregnancy! X

@Sierra26 I have no idea about indent lines or a chemical pregnancy but I can definitely see something on that test! 11 dpo is still pretty early so maybe test again tomorrow am?

I haven’t had a strong LH test like this for a few months so I was beginning to panic that I wasn’t ovulating so I’m pretty happy with this test!

JD90 · 27/02/2023 11:13

Howdy everyone. So I've finally managed to bite the bullet and jump in here. CD9 today, not even sure what cycle if I'm honest, had a ruptured ectopic in October and a chemical last cycle. I'm trying to take away the positive that even a chemical means I was able to actually conceive with one tube. Just trying to keep going.

Natty83 · 27/02/2023 12:34

Fingers crossed and sending Baby Dust @JD90

JJ2023 · 27/02/2023 12:43

Hi everyone, joining aswell as had an early loss and now trying again. I think I ovulated yesterday based on my easy@home LH tests and BBT using natural cycles.

Congratulations to everyone with their BFP’s and fingers crossed for the rest of us TTC a November baby x

Peaceandloves · 27/02/2023 13:09

Hi everyone. TTC baby number 2. This is first cycle so not getting my hopes up too soon but wanted to be amongst others going through it. We were super fortunate to catch first time with my son so I'm keeping everything crossed. I have been tracking cycles but not testing for ovulation so I think we DTD at the right time but not certain. I think I'm 2dpo. Best of luck to you all x

TunnocksTCake · 27/02/2023 16:10

Argh I'm driving myself mad! So I'm 14dpo and after BFns on my cbs this morning (early detection ones) Managed to get a box of frers at lunch and just did it after a 4 hour hold- though I have water this afternoon and got this line... too faint for 14dpo? It definitely has colour and showed up in the time...

Runnergirl1 · 27/02/2023 17:05

@TunnocksTCake that looks good to me. All this test malarkey is a head spin ain’t it. I have everything crossed for you xx

Mummyme87 · 27/02/2023 17:08

@TunnocksTCake that looks like a positive. Have you missed AF yet?

TunnocksTCake · 27/02/2023 17:40

@Runnergirl1 @Mummyme87 thanks ladies, I'm just a bit cautious after my vvvfl over the weekend and the fact I'm 14dpo. Af due tomorrow. X

Chellooo · 27/02/2023 18:34

@TunnocksTCake thats what my 1st test was like, then I tested the next day and it was so much darker xxx

Seasidegirll · 27/02/2023 20:28

@TunnocksTCake that looks like a pretty good line! How exciting! Keep us all updated when you retest 🤞🏻

Mummyme87 · 27/02/2023 20:37

I understand the being cautious @TunnocksTCake fingers crossed for you. It looks like my 12dpo test when I had DS2 and AF was due 1 or 2 days later

TunnocksTCake · 27/02/2023 21:40

Thank you lovelies, I'm going to (try to) hold off tomorrow and test again the day after to try and get some good progression. Fingers crossed af stays away. Tomorrow is going to be loooong! 🙈

AlleycatMarie · 27/02/2023 23:50

@TunnocksTCake keeping my finger’s crossed for you that AF stays away!!! That looks like a good line! X
