@Chellooo that looks positive to me!

Myperfectchaos · 25/02/2023 07:59

@Chellooo i can see that! How many dpo are you xx

Chellooo · 25/02/2023 08:04

I'm 10dpo, that's why I'm doubtful as it's so light x

Natty83 · 25/02/2023 08:39

I think I'm having an anovulatory cycle, I'm on CD12 now and no sign of LH picking up (I've never seen the lines so faint), I usually O on CD11, last 4 cycles like clockwork.
I feel a bit relieved, like maybe I can take a break from all the stress but without giving up a chance, you know? Anyway we will see. DH thinks I'm catastrophising and I'll just O late 🤭

Hi @Natty83 what is anovulatory cycle? I'm CD19 and still no O! I am on day 8 of flashing smiley man too and want to cry with fruatration! Xxx

ExcitedandNervousC1 · 25/02/2023 09:26

Welcome @Seasidegirll !!

I'm also ttc #1 on my third cycle since my MMC in Nov.

Doing the SMEP method this month so have dtd CD 9, 11, 13, 14, 15 I ovulated on CD 15 so going to try tonight ahaib and then Monday and pray!!

Natty83 · 25/02/2023 09:27

@Floralsandsmiles it's a cycle when you don't ovulate. Can just be because of stress/bad luck, sudden weight loss etc but sometimes it just happens (I'm almost 40 and I've read it's more likely to happen spontaneously after 35?) - but if you have a few it can be a sign of something else so worth getting checked out.
Fingers crossed you get that static smiley soon! 8 days is a very frustrating amount of time. It can happen though, I've seen people here have 10/11 days of flashing and then get it.

AlleycatMarie · 25/02/2023 10:26

@Natty83 i think I’m also having an anovulatory cycle - cd 26 and still flashing smiley (I don’t know why I’m still testing) cycle is usually 26-28. I have no pms symptoms yet. Don’t know whether to expect a bleed or not this month? I’m 40 and so worried time is running out.

@TunnocksTCake sorry you’re getting confusing results - your one yesterday looked so promising. Will you test again tomorrow?

@Chellooo that looks like a great line. Finger’s crossed for you!

Maxime34 · 25/02/2023 11:59

Hiya @MilkyAndFluffy thanks so much for checking in. So sorry to hear that af arrived but a new cycle means a new chance so I hope you're feeling a bit better now it's here and you can start to focus on how you want to tackle this month.

I'm a bit lost for words as I don't really know if I should believe it yet but I did a test just before we left for holiday and got a faint but definite positive on a frer. Because I always need to see things in writing I did a first response which said pregnant 1-2 weeks, this was at 10dpo. I made the decision not to take any extra tests on holiday with us because it's not great for my mental health to compare tests due to what's happened previously so I'm just going to hope for the best. Because I've had so many early losses I'm trying not to get too far ahead of myself but at the same time I'm praying beyond words that this is the time it sticks for us. I'll no doubt cave and do a test when I get home but I didn't want to be spending my whole week staring at lines and just enjoy myself as much as possible.

I know hearing these bfp posts isn't easy for those of us who have been trying for so long so if that's you just know I'm really really sorry.

Aww OK, thank you @Natty83 ! I'm crossing my fingers its not a non ovulation cycle. I have cramps near where both tubes are and today more CM, this normally happens (this wet feeling) when it's time for EWCM and stringy. I'm told that's ovulation.. its all so frustrating! Xxxx

Mrsrobinsonx · 25/02/2023 13:30

Finally got a peak opk on CD17! ☺️

Sorry to hear this @AlleycatMarie ! I'm 36 in July, so am worrying too xxx

Aww @Maxime34 ! A massive tentative congratulations! I know its hard to compare from previous times but it's a sensible to go away and just be happy you are a positive. (And not test!) Then when you're home, do another and you will happy you made lots of amazing memories before 🥰 praying for a sticky baby for you! Xxxx

Aww @Mrsrobinsonx this is amazing!! I'm CD19 unfortunetly and day 8 of flashing smiley face! Xxx

Mrsrobinsonx · 25/02/2023 14:00

@Floralsandsmiles I just use the cheap strip tests now as I found them so much easier to understand than digital ones and you can see when it’s rising before the peak etc! X

Fallulah · 25/02/2023 16:06

@Chellooo I can see that’s a line and normally I’m say here like… um, what are you all seeing?! 👍

@Maxime34 Never never apologise for this - you’re not responsible for the struggles of the rest of us. Hope your holiday is glorious and you can get on with a healthy pregnancy when you get back xx

Maxime34 · 25/02/2023 17:03

@Floralsandsmiles @Fallulah thank you ladies so kind of you x

Natty83 · 25/02/2023 17:58

@AlleycatMarie I have had bleeds before when I think I haven't ovulated so I think so? But I don't think it's always the case x

Natty83 · 25/02/2023 18:00

@Maxime34 Congratulations 🥰

Natty83 · 25/02/2023 18:00

@Floralsandsmiles that sounds really positive! Fingers crossed it's coming soon 💐 x

Seasidegirll · 25/02/2023 18:04

@ExcitedandNervousC1 hi! So sorry to hear about your MMC, that must have been so heartbreaking to go through. We are also doing SMEP, last cycle was our first month of doing it. Its knackering isn’t it ahah. Sounds like you guys followed it to a T!! Fingers crossed for you x

It's EWCM!! Woohoo! Lol xxx

AussieMum888 · 25/02/2023 19:15

Congrats to all the BFPs!! So happy for you.

What are people thoughts on early clear blue tests Vs FRER? I couldn't get my hands on a FRER so did a CB at 11DPO and BFN :(

MilkyAndFluffy · 25/02/2023 20:30

@Maxime34 eeeek massive congrats my lovely. Don’t ever feel bad, you haven’t taken away from anyone else! I’m chuffed for you, have a lovely holiday and I wish you a happy & healthy sticky 9 months ❤️❤️❤️ Xxxxx
