my two month break was because my sister is getting married in Rhodes in October so obviously needed to ensure I wasn’t anywhere between 36weeks pregnant and 2weeks postnatal at that time!

It’s so frustrating isn’t it?! I thought I understood my cycles and then the more I test the more confused I get. What I don’t understand is, if the clear blue has missed my ovulation, why has it not gone back to empty circles? My cycles are 26-28 days, so even if I got a static now I don’t think I would be in with a chance.
@SaltedChoco any luck today?
I tested with fmu and it’s still bloody flashing at me!!!!

I'm so confused I took a frer early this morning (11dpo) and it was still super light, no progression, so I was convinced I'm having a chemical. Cried a lot this morning. I then got a clear blue test while out and took it, not realising the sensitivity is 25 and it's slightly positive. Can't upload the pic, it says it's too big.

I'm 19 months TTC, 36, first baby. Been referred for ivf,15 month wait. This month the doctor could see I had ovulated from a vaginal scan. Just had a blood test to see if there's any progesterone serum. This entire process is hell

Hi ladies, I hope you dont mind me hopping on. We've just decided to start trying for our first baby together (my second). Last pregnancy was a surprise and it was many years ago, so this all feels new to me.
Have long irregular cycles, not sure what to expect. I've ordered some ovulation tests to try to get a better understanding of my cycle.

@AlleycatMarie thank you! Yeah so so frustrating. I feel exactly the same I don’t know what’s going on. Good point about not going back to empty circles. Are you temping too? I don’t even understand my temps 🙈 the damn flashing smiley is so annoying

So, I don’t want to get anyones hopes up, but a close friend just had non stop flashing smileys and it’s because she was very early pregnant!

@SaltedChoco i don’t temp - did try it one month but tbh I kept forgetting to do it before I got out of bed. I might try again though. I have an appointment with the fertility clinic next month and wonder if they will ask me to do this. Just done another test and still flashing- why am I tormenting myself like this??!

I went for my ultrasound today. It was horrible 😓but I just laid there keeping focused on thinking this will help me ttc. I'm properly scared something will be wrong in there but I won't find out til next Thursday now.

@AlleycatMarie I'm going to keep testing just so I know for sure. I don't know how these tests work really, if we just go back to empty circles?

@Tophy124 yeah I know what you mean. It took us 3 cycles with DS but they were much longer so felt like forever to wait to get the BFP. I didn't ovulate until about CD 17/18 this time but AF showed up at day CD27/28. Not sure if my lp is long enough for implantation so going to keep an eye on my charts.

@SaltedChoco I’ve had two internal ultrasounds now; it’s not the nicest thing but just try to focus on your goal!

So, now I’ve really lost it and just tested with my existing clear blue and also a new one. Still flashing, but empty circle on the new one?!

@AlleycatMarie empty circle means you’re LH surge has happened! Empty circle is back to baseline so you’d get empty circles before and after your LH surge. Some women have two LH surges a month too! It’s rarer but not unheard of

@Maxime34 I haven’t tested today, I spent an absolute fortune on tests in October!! So I’m pacing myself this time haha 🙈thanks for asking - I’m going to test tomorrow though haha.

@LuckyC27 ah I’m sorry to hear about your mmc! It’s a horrible process isn’t it - glad to see the back of it 😅I didn’t have any symptoms at all for the whole 8 weeks when I was pregnant in November which was a giveaway to me that something wasn’t right. The pregnancy test faded a bit too so I just stopped testing because I was getting sick of overthinking everything and testing loads.

My boobs felt like they were exploding when I was about 4-5 weeks pregnant with my daughter and I suddenly developed narcolepsy haha (not good for work!!). I’m already starting to feel really tired and getting the boob tingles! I wish I had your willpower to wait until my period is due 😂still not really going to accept mines a true positive until next weekend (but I will test in between anyway haha 👹). Fingers crossed you get your rainbow this cycle!

@AlleycatMarie the first one on a new holder is always empty circle, it's setting the baseline so now that holder is probably going to think your current high oestrogen state is 'normal', so may well be off 😬 it would still pick up an LH surge but not oestrogen unless it gets higher still. Hope that makes sense?!
I think there's a certain amount of flashing smileys after which they say you can stop testing - something like 9? Says it in the booklet.

@SaltedChoco sorry your scan was horrid, as you say keep the ultimate aim in mind. I've had so many of those now they barely bother me, but I remember the first was awful 💕

This is only the second month of using the clear blue and last month it was textbook (3 days flashing the static) that I expected the same this month! Hope you’re both doing okay

@AlleycatMarie have you done a pregnancy test? Not sure if you saw my comment before, but a very close friend kept getting smiley faces and googled it and it mentioned it could be pregnancy and she was pregnant!

@Tophy124 i saw your comment and I’m very intrigued!! I don’t think I can be as even if I missed my ovulation and it was earlier than usual, it would still be too early to test. At the same time though, it has given me some hope!!!

@Tophy124 I’m terrible for testing early at the best of times! Now wondering if it’s worth taking a test. Maybe I’ll POAS first thing tomorrow, even if it’s just to rule it out!

@Maxime34 hey lovely, sorry for my later reply, I’ve been really really struggling the last couple of days. This is the first month I’ve found myself feeling that twinge of disappointment on the lead up to testing. I don’t know why I can literally remember and feel the disappointment to seeing that negative test before it’s even happened. It’s really got me this month not gonna lie wow. I didn’t want to drag anyone down my black hole so thought it was best I waited till I felt abit better. I also think this is the first month I’m very convinced it’s not my month, I’m not sure why. I’m devastated already just feeling like I’m waiting for AF to start so we can do it all over again. I am the exact same as you, was super chill over the fertile period and we only got down & dirty 3 times so I feel like I’ve not given myself a good chance. I just can’t figure out which days are best to DTD on argh!!! Massively regret not ovulation testing too because I have no idea when my surge happened so I will not be doing that again!! The chill life is NOT for me. I’m assuming I ovulated a similar time to the last few months and if that’s so, I’ll be around 7dpo today I think. I’ll be lucky if I make it to Tuesday/Wednesday without testing but that’s my plan

i know what you mean about wondering how long to go for after the surge, can’t someone just tell us which days are best - argh!! Testing next weekend for you, is that while you are away? Will you stash a bunch of FRER’s in your bag? Have you been noticing or feeling any symptoms?? I know it’s hard for you because if the meds you take. I’m so glad you have your trip to focus on so hopefully next week fly’s by for you as you get prepped and packed etc. it totally does just show it’s a total rollercoaster and pot luck doesn’t it!! You do well getting round to DTD as much as you do with another little one to entertain! I have absolutely everything crossed this is your lucky month and you’ll have a gorgeous trip with a cheeky BFP 😍so sorry for my Debbie downer start to the reply, just need to be honest and it’s nice to tell someone how I’ve been feeling as I’ve been bottling it up!
