Clearblue ovulation question

So I’ve just started to TTC. I’m using clearblue advanced ovulation tests.

I’ve been using the app Flo for about a year so it’s already been tracking my ovulation. It said fertile period started on Friday past. I tried the first stick on Thursday just to see if early but it was the circle. I tried one on Friday and it was a flashy face so it seemed to tie in well with app.

It said on app that ovulation day was Tuesday but Tuesday was difficult and busy day for us so I did the test on Monday and again it was flashy face. I didn’t do test on Tuesday. I did the test this morning (Wednesday) and it was flashy face.

Is it normal for it to be a flashy face after day of ovulation? I’m just curious if ovulation still has to happen or if it was possibly on Tuesday.

TLDR:
Tuesday predicted as ovulation day

Thursday: Circle
Friday: Flashy face
Monday:Flashy face
Wednesday: Flashy face

Could ovulation have happened on Tuesday? Or likely to still come?
apologises if seems a silly question to you. I’ve searched to see but can’t find answer of what to expect on tests day after ovulation.

As it’s your first time using it can take a cycle to get used to all your levels, also, you may have got your peak Tuesday and missed it? And then as your LH is coming down, it would still be flashing!

I’d keep testing and see how you get on🤍 I actually just found the easy at home cheapies so much easier (and cheaper!!) but I was TTC nearly 3 years so I couldn’t continue always on the clearblue lol!! X

Thanks for the reply! I did wonder if the level coming down from peak might be registering as a flashing face. I can see how it can add up a lot in cost. I may switch to cheaper brand once these are used if not successful before then.

Can I jump in on this as I'm also having a slight "meh" with the same! Lol.

According to my app fertile week was sat 4th - fri 10th.
Had circles Sun-Weds, and flashing smiley now Thurs- Weds (today). That's 7 damn flashing smileys!

This is my 4th cycle of testing and I thought I had it sussed. I test in a morning as per the instructions, and started doing a second afternoon test with a normal ovulation test since Monday this week and they've been negative. All other cycles have shown circles and smiles as expected.

Is it likely I've just missed my peak? And the flashing is just my dropping estrogen as mentioned above? But 7 days seems a long time!? Do I keep testing? I'm day 23 now and usually ovulate around 16-18.

We've still be doing the deed, it just get a bit relentless and stressful when you have to pee on a bloody stick all the time lol.

I use this test and have never gotten a solid line, just flashing faces. I got to 11 days of flashing faces the month before last and gave up as my cm had changed from ewcm to thick and creamy to non existent, so I knew that ovulation, if I did ovulate had been and gone. I didn't use it last month, but I've been having flashing smileys since last Monday, so 10 days, but I'm still getting ewcm (it was late to show this month).

I'm going to get the cheap tests from Amazon and just do them next month, as this is far too stressful!
