I had mirena removed 10th jan and as I didn’t get af while it was in, I’ve been using opk to try and track cycle. I’ve been getting frustrated as they’ve been really low but it went up a little last night so I tested again just now and I’ve finally got a high woo. I’ve never used opks before so how long am I likely to have before ovulation. We DTD last night but should we do it again tonight? Every other day? Does this mean im going to ovulate within the next 24 hours?

if you get a high usually means within the next 12-36 hours. the egg only lives for about 24 hours so id prob go again tonight and if you have the energy tomorrow night too just for extra measure. But sperm can live for up to 5 days so last night was a good move too :)

Keep testing. You haven't hit peak yet and keep bd'ing every other day. Once get peak bd then, the next day and the day after that

I think your test will get darker than that.

Thank you both. I’ve seen some people have it gradually rise over a few days and others can come and go really quickly. Might DTD again tonight to cover all bases as I have no idea whether mine is gradual or quick.

the excitement I feel over finally seeing that line go darker is ridiculous. 😂😂
