I'm 9-10 dpo and have been testing using the strips.

I can't see a red line (obviously 😞) but there are these strange white translucent type lines?!

Could somebody explain what they are please - I've never had this before in the past - I've only ever had complete negatives.

Is there a chance it will turn positive?!

(Sorry in advance if I'm being really stupid)

How long after testing are you seeing the white line OP? Are you dip testing too?

I went round in circles seeing lines/ indents on the cheap tests (bulk bought from ebay) but when I was definitely pregnant it came up bright red/pink within seconds of the dye going across the strip. No mistake - no holding to the light or squinting- just two very clear lines. I know how hard it is but personally I'd wait 48 hours and test again if no period. First response was the best brand imo to see a clear yes or no answer. Good luck xx

@Thecat19342

2-5 minutes ish?
Yes I always dip test with these ones.

I've never seen anything whatsoever on a test before so I think I've jumped on seeing a white line thinking it's surely got to be on its way. I'm unsure if 9/10 dpo is too early as well really.

Thank you xxx

That's very negative I'm afraid.

that white line is where the potential line could be.

And there's no dye in it.

JuniperandI · 31/01/2023 08:36

That's the worse indent I've ever seen! Sorry OP

anon12333 · 31/01/2023 08:51

It's ok - at least I know what it is now 😞

Awful! I had so many false hopes with them. Wish I still had photos of the faint pink lines that came up on them. All were negatives.

Stick with frers and test on day period is due xx
