Is this a chemical?

Hi all,

I got 3 very faint positives on cheapy amazon tests (mommed). Did a First Response yesterday at 15DPO and a darker but still faint line. Tested this morning (16dpo) using clearblue and mommed again and negative. Still no AF, I'm about 3 days late. Thinking this sounds like a chemical? Does anyone have any experience of this? My temp still hasn't dropped though, such a mindfield!!!

if they were positive and now negative and youve used different brands for confirmation then it does sound like a chemical. Your hcg levels should be doubling every 2 days.
I've had 2 chemicals and this is what I experienced on both.
My hcg line got darker for about 4 days then suddenly got lighter very quickly and after few days looked practically negative. It depends how much hcg was in your system in first place that will affect the rate of decrease. The more you have the longer you would still produce a positive. My advice is to book in for books 48hrs apart to access hcg levels if the pregnancy is progressing or not. Just to be certain it's not test sensitivity or something affecting the test

Thanks @Moonie84 thats what I was thinking, the fact that I've used different brands definitely makes me think its a chemical! And I never really got a strong positive line so perhaps my levels never got to a high level! Yea, think I will ring the GP for bloods just to make sure! Just wait it out now for AF! Thanks so much!!
