Confused with ovulation signs

A few days ago I noticed some cm on the tissue paper, then after that there didn't seem to be any, then today on the tissue I have noticed it again.

Was it EWCM? You have varying types of cm throughout your cycle. Also it’s quite common to have EWCM several times throughout your cycle. Sounds completely normal.

have you tried testing with opk?

@Twoinapod it seemed like a pearly colour, lotiony/slippery sorry for TMI. Nope haven't tried a opk, used to, but haven't for some time. I know that would give me a better idea but using them used to stress me.

Sounds completely normal. It’s not EWCM, but even seeing EWCM isn’t a sure sign of ovulation

@Twoinapod I know, only sure way of knowing is using opks, but don't know if I'd want to start using them again, nearly 42 and I'm not so sure I can get pregnant again, 1 mmc then my son, then a further 2 mmc, two rounds of ivf which didn't result in a pregnancy, been trying ourselves since, but no joy.
