Is this the dreaded CB evap line?

Hey,

i am at the end of the TWW from an embryo transfer. I have had some faint lines during the week which have now become negative. As today is my test date, I used a CB early. I have spotted a shadow during timeframe, then it turned to this blue line. I did not keep track of time, but was likely outside of timeframe (I was confirming a BFN, so didn’t have watch religiously).

I have had previously used CB and they have left grey shadows which I was sure was an evap as clearly no colour.

Just so I can be categorically clear… is this the dreaded CB evap? I have not had a line this blue before (it’s bright blue in person, i promise) on an evap.

Were you using the same clearblue tests earlier in the week? I'd say it does look like a chemical sorry OP

I wouldn't say it's a chemical? It looks like a normal CB evap in my experience

Could you get hold of a FRER to test with?

Pink dyes (FRER and Easy@Home) were showing squinter (but pink) lines Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday this week with no line progress over a 48 hour period. So I stopped testing as I was sure it was a chemical as I have had 3 now and unfortunately everything was recognisable from past experiences. I didn’t test again then until yesterday, which was pink dye and it was negative (as expected). As I need to contact the clinic with the results tomorrow as today is official test day, I used the CB digital and it showed the book… then I used the CB early as I wanted to just get the confirmation of the negative outcome.

I am very certain of the result of the embryo transfer, I have just never seen a piercing blue thin line before. I have only ever seen a shadowy/grey line. It’s never had colour before.

Due to the nature of the IVF and tomorrow being told to stop all medications that will make me bleed, I just wanted to be 100% sure.
