Been ttc for 17 months for dc no 3. i have been having blood tests every month to check my ovulation and everything is officially fine so noe dh has to have a sperm count done which he seems up for but i knw it will be bad results as he is on alot of medication and this could effect fertility.

Oh Tegan how for you. Try and stay positive though - you never know, it may just be that you want it sooooo much and are getting a bit stressed. It took over 12mths for dh and I to conceive and typically the month we did conceive was actually the month that I commented would be an inappropriate time to conceive as I would be giving birth at the same time as a dear friend's wedding. I never made it to the wedding as was in labour at the time I know telling you to 'stop worrying' about it is much easier said than done - believe me I know how much it hurts when that dreaded period turns up every month. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Tegan, I wish you all the best. It took us a year and a half for our son to be conceived. We were at our wits end and blaming each other. In the end it took a short holiday to celebrate DH's new job offer. Maybe it was because for once we were relaxed and spontaneous, not temp checking etc.
Good luck.

Thanks i know this will sound awful but if i don't have anymore dc thats ok because i have 2 beautiful dd's but i am stressing that if the problems are down to dh he wopn't cope with this as he wants dc's more than me.

Is it necessary for you to go for the sperm count? I guess if you weren't really prepared to go down some sort of other route, ie IVF, should the worst be confirmed then you don't really need to know. Once the pressure is off then it will hopefully happen naturally anyway.
