Does heat damage eggs?

My partner and I plan to try for a baby in a few days time but I've recently pulled a muscle in my lower back and have been lying down on top of a very hot water bottle - which has helped a lot.

But now I'm worried the intense heat in that area may have somehow damaged the developing egg. I know I sound a bit paranoid but it's well documented that heat can effect sperm in males. Any advice would be great.

Please be assured on the point. Warmth from a hot water bottle would not have harmed any egg released from the ovaries in any way.
