Did I ovulate last month?

Just that, really.

My period was almost regular, actually 1 day early.

I had a little bit of EWCM, not much though.

All ovulation tests were negative (!!!) and conception didn't work.

I took a day 21 Progesterone test and the result was 36.5 nmol/L

The test result read:

Your progesterone is in the appropriate range for the stage of your cycle and indicates that ovulation is likely to have occurred.

So help me to find the solution to this misery please: Did I ovulate or did I not ovulate?

Is the progesterone test or ovulation test right?

For your information, I will be 36 in February and I am desperate for a 3rd child. I have a 2 1/2 year old and an 11 month old.

I feel like I am running out of time!!:(

I would trust the progesterone test over the ovulation test x

Ovulation tests just test for the rise in LH which happens just before ovulation, it doesn’t confirm ovulation. I would trust the progesterone blood test over these. If it’s 30 or over then suggests ovulation has occurred.

Yup. And it's very easy to miss your peak - in my last 10 months of using OPKs, I think I only got a true positive about once, but I did get ones that were clearly on their way up or down (0.4-0.6 etc), so that in combination with my temps and when AF showed up confirmed it for me...

Interesting. I guess I am a bit confused because when we ttc our daughter I always had clear positives on ovulation tests.

I suppose it is unlikely that I didn't ovulate with my cycle being regular and my progesterone level being 36.5

It's reassuring to know that at least one thing is working in my old body 😂
