Hi I’m 6dpo for sure as I tracked with ovulation tests this month and I’ve got a positive pregnancy test, is this possible?

Last cycle was my first time using opks, my line got dark on cycle day 9, then really dark cycle day 10 so I’m guessing I ovulate either cycle day 10, 11 or 12? I’m not going to use them this month and just try relax a bit and go for the sex every other day approach which will be hard 😂 will keep the thread updated for those who are interested, good luck to all who are trying to conceive x

I think that’s a good idea! I struggle with the OPKs too as I have a stronger line than the control line for 2/3 days and then around the same colour and gradually get lighter, I end up with two lines for around a week so it’s hard to know sometimes. I instead just track my CM now as it’s much easier for me!

currently 8dpo 🤞🏼 Good luck to you for next month too x

super easy as long as you accurately produce enough each month. Non fertile days before and after period will be either creamy or sticky, leading up to fertile days may be more watery or wet and then your fertile days are more like egg whites.

Keep an eye on your own body though as everyone is different, my friends doesn’t produce egg white CM but still fell pregnant so just track it for what is different for you during that time so you can read the signs of when ovulation is coming. ❤️

If you struggle with ovulation tests then go digital. There's no guess work. I should have ovulated today...but haven't had my surge yet. So I'm glad I'm going by the digital and nothing else!

Thankyou are they expensive? X

Honestly...yes 😂 £32 box of 10...super drug have them on offer for £22.99. But I've been testing 7 days and just this morning got my surge! 3 days later than usual x

Digitals have such a bad rep. I’ve been using easy@home test strips and using the premom app which gives them a number and makes it really easy to see if they’re going up or down. Much cheaper than digitals.

Not going to lie, I much prefer digital over strips. No guess work and everyone I know who TTC have had success while using digitals

The girl I know who used them didn’t, so I think that’s a bit of a blanket statement. You are entitled to your preference but I think appearing to guarantee conception off the back of using a digital test, which is how your post reads, is dangerous.

The digitals are very expensive and the strip tests on their own or using the premom app work very very well. The strips always worked well for me combined with bbt to confirm ovulation so I wasn’t left guessing.

Excuse me I haven't guaranteed anything. What a stupid thing to say!

Good luck! My sister had the same approach and fell! Sometimes I think the stress of testing ect can go against you x

Said I wasn’t going to test for ovulation but was curious 😂 why is it so hard to stop testing? I don’t think this is a positive though, assuming it will get darker today and possibly tomorrow (if it’s the same as last month) have just been enjoying the trying and not thinking about it too much, although we did try pre seed just to see what it was like, how is everyone? Any luck x

@Mummy1502

ive never used those ones before but definitely looks positive but may peak a stronger line in the next few hours/ later today rather than tomorrow as it’s already strong on the picture.

A little bit of good news for the thread - I am 4 weeks 3 days pregnant with a rainbow baby ❤️🌈

@Sav96 congratulations! Very happy for you, this test was from yesterday around 3:30 so possibly could have ovulated already now, will do one more today to see if it’s any stronger, they are cheapies from Poundland you get 5 in a pack, wasn’t wasting my money on more tests I spent so much last month, hoping we have caught it and get our bfp this month x

I don't know if this helps, this was my test 24 hours apart and I believe I ovulated not long after the first test as my due date is exactly 40 weeks after that day xx

Keeping the thread updated as promised, feeling exhausted today to the point I’ve had to nap, no energy at all so pretty sure I must have ovulated, did another ovulation test today and its started getting lighter so won’t bother testing again this month, now for the tww, can I hold out the whole 12 days until I’m due on lol x

@Mummy1502 I'm 5dpo and exhausted. Started yesterday and today. Was 830pm last night and I couldn't keep my eyes open. Minor cramps today, a bit nauseous so fingers crossed!!

@Mummyo1 keep me updated, I feel the same today and massive headache, hope I’m not getting poorly, not sure what day I’m on as can’t be sure when I ovulated, I’m thinking 1–2 days maybe so surely can’t happen that quick although I like to think im very in tune with my body, just feel a bit off and didn’t feel like this last month x
