TTC and Breastfeeding

Hi All,

Have many/ any of you conceived while bf? My DS is 6 months old and we were hoping to start TTC around now. But I have been tracking my ovulation my LH didn't rise above .11 (using premom app and easy at home OPKs) so I don't think I am ovulating. I've only been tracking for 3 weeks.

There's a thread on here TTC whilst breastfeeding- tips, advice and support. I was on it for a short while, before I stopped breastfeeding.

In my experience, I tried everything to improve my chances of ovulation whilst breastfeeding- eating more, supplements, replacing a feed with formula, exclusively pumping... I didn't get my period back until 5 weeks after I'd stopped breastfeeding altogether. Some people have completely different experiences, so don't let me put you off.

DS will start creche in two weeks and I don't plan to pump so that may trigger the periods to start.

Biggest hurdle with TTC right now is having the desire/ energy to do so 😂
