LH surge twice?? Could it be the raspberry leaf?

(Had to repost due to an error in dates) Hello everyone, hope you are all doing good..
Something strange happened to me this month and i can not stop wondering what the heck happened..
I miscarried in November (was a silent MC that should have happend at around 5 weeks but found out at 11 weeks) and soon after i began taking the wellwoman (pregnacare) conception tablets.
I didnt track my ovulation for december because i was just looking forward to having my period so that i know that everything is back in working order.
I noticed i had alot of heavy discharge mid december (around 15th december and a few days over) so i assumed that was around when i ovulated.
Because i was determined to get my body back to being healthy as i felt i was not physically ready for the previous pregnancy that ended in MC i decided to add raspberry leaf capsules to my diet around the 17th december.
I took these raspberry leaf capsules religiously every night along with the pregnacare conception tablets and i had my period that lasted the usual amount of days (6 days) as it used to before my last pregnancy and the date it started was the 4th January and stopped on the 10th.
Now normally, i would start testing for my LH surge around the 18th of january as my cycle is 30 days long and would peak at around 22th (according to all the online ovulation calculators.)
I used the clearblue ovulation tracker and i got that flashy smiley face that shows my LH are rising and normally after a few days of a flashing smiley i get the smiley face that doesnt flash which means my LH are at a peak. This time however, i got the flashy smiley for two days and by then my pack had finished so then i bought a new pack for the next day (yesterday) and when i tested, i got the blank circle which showed there was no LH surge..
I was gutted and worried at the same time as that had never happened to me before where i tested with clearblue everyday and not got the non flashy smiley face.
I thought "okay maybe my LH didnt peak and i probably didnt ovulate" so left it at that.
I told my husband and he told me it could be the raspberry leaf capsules because thats the only new addition that i had to my usual diet. So i stopped taking these yesterday.
Today, i just decided to take a test out of curiosity and i have the flashy smiley face again! 😧
Idk whats going on..
Could it be that the raspberry leaf was causing my LH levels to rise causing me to have a false reading? And this LH rise is the real one?
Has anyone else had this experience?
I mean.. how can you go from the flashy smiley indicating that your LH is surging but then turn to a blank circle the next day and then back to a flashy smiley the day after that to show your LH is surging again??
It is very upsetting.. i do not have PCOS by the way and no symptoms of PCOS either (i know what the symptoms are because my older sister has it) so i dont know why this is happening to me 😞

@HoneyBunnii did you use the new tester rather than than your old one with the new sticks? If you used the new one you always get a blank circle the first time regardless as it does it to get a base reading. The flashing circle means a rise is estrogen not lh, this could be because you didn’t get your peak and are gearing up again, but you also get a second rise in your luteal phase too, so it could just be this and you missed the peak if you used the new tester. It’s one of those wait and see things, I don’t think the raspberry leaf is affecting it though, I drink the teas the first half of my cycle and never had an issue.

@Bubblesandballoons oh i never knew about the blank circle the first time using thing.. yes it was the new sticks with the new tester so perhaps this is what happened.. if i had missed the peak then i wouldnt get the flashing smiley again once getting the blank circle.. i will just wait and see..
I was really liking the idea of raspberry leaf but now im just afraid to take it..
I wish clearblue would mention in their leaflet that the first reading will always be a negative .. it would save alot of confusion.
I am new to using these kits.. i only used it 3 times so far.. the first time i used it i got pregnant with my now 18 month old toddler and then the second time ended in miscarriage and now this time which has been a totally different experience compared to the last two times.

Also just been researching about how too much estrogen isnt good for fertility either... i think (personally) im just gonna lay off the raspberry leaf and just stick to pregnacare conception supplements.
I guess the fact that my estrogen levels went so high the first time when using the kit a few days ago could have been from the raspberry leaf use and then when i stopped taking them, my levels dropped to normal and im probably having the estrogen rise naturally now before i peak (hopefully)..

@HoneyBunnii i always think we have to do what we feel best and doesn’t stress us out when ttc. Hopefully your cycle will go back to normal if it is out of sync

@Jivizdrav thanks for that 😄 i had decided to stop taking the raspberry leaf tea because it was messing up my whole ovulation calculation and now i am almost 21 weeks pregnant 🥳 but thank you for the link

I had 4 LH surges this cycle, every morning 24 hours apart really dark positives which lasted 3-4 hours then negative again till the next day. I have PCOS and other conditions and I’ve all but given up now trying for #3
weirdly cycles where I did conceive in the past when I used CB showed no peak so I went to the strip tests this time .

Sometimes I think hormones are just strange !

@YourOpinion yes i used some cheap strip tests i bought from amazon after having used clearblue for a few months before that only to end up full of confusion. I found when i used the strips the very first time i got pregnant :) made me feel so stupid to spend so much on a digital ovulation kit

I’ve given up hope this month as I have no idea what’s going on with my hormones !! I had so much EWCM for 2 days but totally negative tests then 2 days after that I got 4 surges each 24 hours apart so I don’t think anything will have worked
