OPK's

Hi everyone,

I am new to using OPK's, I missed my last AF due to severe illness (I think) and if I ovulated the same as last time, I'm supposed to ovulate today. Does this line progression look good? I know it's not much to go by as I only started last night.

Today was after I woke up but I held in my urine for probably about 6 hours as I woke during the night to urinate. I did not hold urine or anything last night and I'm not sure if I need to be doing it at a specific time or holding in my urine for a certain amount of time, please could you all enlighten me? Thank you

I’m not an expert on OPKs but I can definitely see the second one is darker. My understanding is that when the test line is darker than the control line that’s your peak but don’t quote me! Sorry not much help 😂

I’m fairly new to OPk, but from what I’ve read you’re better off doing them in the afternoon for a more accurate result. With at least a 3-4 hour hold.

They are still very low, the numbers on the right side, you’re looking for somewhere around a 1.0 for ovulation, and the test line will be darker than the control line, so I wouldn’t say ovulation is imminent yet.

look out for other signs of ovulation like EWCM as that’s more reliable than these tests are

Keep testing, try and test twice a day if you can. This is my progression with the OPKs this cycle. If you're using the Premom app it'll tell you when you hit your peak xx
