Is there anything you ladies done in the TWW that you swear helped you have a successful implantation?

Hey, new to mumsnet!

Currently in my TWW wait too I’m 5dpo.

In my last successful TWW I remember just mostly sleeping and listening to my body, I didn’t go to the gym as I felt super tired! Unfortunately it ended in miscarriage later on in the pregnancy.

how many dpo are you? ❤️

Hey! Ah sorry to hear about your loss!
I'm currently 8DPO, had two losses last year but my GP wont refer me for further investigations unless I have a third which I think is so unfair.
Done a test today which I feel like I had line eyes but would say it's more than likely negative, even though it's still so early, I literally have no will power when it comes to taking tests 😂

When will you start testing?
🤞🏼 for us both 💕

Sorry to hear about your losses too 🤍

I got a very faint positive last month but it must have been chemical or maybe an indent line as AF came 4 days later on the expected day!

I will probably do the same again this month to be honest and start testing from 8/9dpo as I just cannot contain my self 😂

have you had any symptoms yet? I swear I keep getting twinges which is what I had when it was successful during implantation but it’s too early for me yet 🤞🏼

😆what are we like!? I tell myself every cycle I won't test until 12dpo but I always cave!
I'm sleeping non stop, which isn't like me at all & been feeling very sick today. Feeling some on off cramps and pinches too but I think it's too early to be pregnancy related so I'm assuming that's all progesterone related?
How early did you feel symptoms with your last pregnancy? x

How are you doing?

i started feeling pregnant a week before I was due on last time, just an odd feeling to be honest. I felt like I was in the phase straight after AF when everything is fine, no pre-menstrual cramping and no mood swings. Then 3 days before I was due on I felt sharp twinges in my womb that lasted only a second or so every few minutes on and off for a few hours. Over the next two days I was sooooo hungry, tested a day before AF was due and it came back positive. Doctor confirmed that the cramping I felt was implantation! X

Sorry had to reply back to this one as it wouldn't let me to your recent comment! Aw isn't it amazing how you just know straight away?
How many DPO are you now? Any symptoms at all?
I'm 10DPO, tested yesterday and had what I thought was a dye run but there was a line, tested again twice today and still the faintest line. I'm trying not to get my hopes up so don't want to think too much about it right now and hoping tomorrow my test looks a little more promising 🤞🏼 x

@Megan993

I know it’s so strange, I’ve never had that before apart from that month so I definitely knew but was scared to get my hopes up! If it’s any consolation I had a negative test 3 days before AF was due and then positive 1 day before so there’s still plentyyyy of time for your faint line to get stronger 🥰

I’m 7 dpo so I’ll start obsessive testing from tomorrow 🙈 I haven’t had any symptoms so far so hoping that’s a positive. Had a headache yesterday but that’s probably related to the progesterone surge x

I'm good thank you! How are you feeling today? Did you test today at all?

Tests are still looking the same for me today, thinking ugh maybe it should have got a little darker by now but not pinning my hopes on this turning into a positive just incase but I did feel very nauseous today. I'm sure the mind starts tricking us half the time 😁😵‍💫 xx

No I didn’t have any in the house but been and got some this afternoon so will be resting in the morning 🤞🏼

definitely still got so much time to get darker, you’re still only early testing really. My positive test when I was pregnant was just the day before I was due on and that was still faint then got darker over the week I should have been on. I’ll try find a picture to post for reference.

I know I’m the same I’m sure my boobs are becoming more sensitive but could just be making them hurt 😂 xx

Sav96 · 01/02/2023 20:40

This was my positive test 1 day before period was due x

How long have you been TTC?

I think I give up this cycle lol I feel like I could possibly have a bad batch of tests because they all are giving me the faintest lines but nothing seems to get any darker. Period due Saturday so depending on what happens with that I will test again but gonna try not to until then. My heads done in from it all 🤣🤣 xx

Hi, hope you don't mind me joining. I'm currently 8/9dpo and constantly symptom spotting 😬. Last month I was pregnant but lost it about 5/6 weeks. Tests got lighter 1 week later then I started bleeding. Don't have the same symptoms this time round apart from sore boobs so not sure if my body is just gearing up for AF 🥺 hope not though. I done a test today but it looks negative.
Good luck to everybody 🥰

Sav96 · 02/02/2023 12:39

@Megan993

aww no that’s such a shame for them to be all bad, which ones did you use? Yeah good idea, I darent test yet I’m so nervous this month after having a chemical last month 🙈

we started TTC in August 22 and then fell pregnant in Oct 22 and lost that baby at 12 weeks in Dec, starting trying straight away for Rainbow 🌈 how long have you been TTC? X

Oh no sorry to hear about your losses! It's awful isn't it. Has the GP tried to help at all or does yours also suggest trying for a year before they help?
I have been TTC since jan 2021, had two miscarriages last year in April & November my doctor has tried to be as helpful as she can but i can't be referred to the miscarriage clinic till I've had 3 which I thinks so unfair so I've been going private for blood tests to check my progesterone etc. as I thought that could of played a part.
I'm out this month though, had bad cramping this afternoon and AF arrived 😵‍💫 not going to be disheartened though. We go again this cycle🤞🏼
When is AF due for you? I'm hoping you get your positive! Will have to update me🤞🏼💕

Sorry to hear about your losses too, it’s so sad isn’t it 🤍

sorry your AF has came, I am thinking this isn’t my month either as 9dpo today but having strong camps so thinking it’s pre menstrual!

The hospital said 3 losses before they will test and my doctors have said either 3 losses or 1 year without success so it would be 1 year from Dec when I lost the baby as they class Oct as being successful in falling pregnant. AF is due on Tuesday, would love a positive but not sure due to the cramps from today x

So unfair though isn't it! It's torture to go through nevermind several times before they can look into it.
Last month I did start new vitamins but I know they take about 3 months to start making a difference and also tried new things I had read other women be successful with so I'm trying not to feel to crap about AF coming and remain hopeful for hopeful this cycle or next🤞🏼

Still quite early for you, do you usually get cramps this many days before AF is due? Hopefully it isn't! Xx

OP posts:
Sav96 · 03/02/2023 09:11

@Megan993

What vitamins did you start taking? I use the seven seas trying for a baby one, just a small little tablet each day! I used them the month before I fell pregnant last time and started in January again so hoping it will work for me again.

I usually get cramps about 4 days before but never normally 6 so trying to be positive as nothing else has hinted at AF yet, no mood swings ext. I caved this morning and did a cheap test that tests from 6 days early as I hoped if the cramps yesterday were implantation then my hcg hormone would be starting to climb over the next few days.

can’t decide if this is a evap line or a super faint bfp 🙈 hoping faint line as it would have only implanted yesterday! I’ve never used this particular test before so don’t know how common evap lines are. Will keep testing over the next few days x

Thank you to you both for being so kind 🥰.

@Sav96 I can see a faint line there! How quick did the line come up? How exciting!

I did a test this morning but then forgot to take it to work with me to check 😑. So even if there's a line it'll probably be classed as invalid lol. I shall update when I'm back home!

This looks promising, I'm not sure if I would say it's an evap because I've never seen an Evap that dark..I reckon this could be it for you!!
You going to test again today or wait until tomorrow? Can't wait to hear an update🤞🏼💕

I started taking a prenatal, CoQ10 & Vit D which i was low in after my last miscarriage and I had no idea it was linked to miscarriages till I started looking into things myself. I bought 'it starts with the egg' book and it's amazing. Really made me rethink a lot of the things I eat too etc as I found out in December I have a dairy and gluten intolerance so I'm trying so hard to keep that out of my diet too, so hard though 😅xx

@Megan993 @PoppySeed31

I think it’s an evap line as I’ve just gone back to look at it and it’s even darker now and it’s way past the time you can look so I’m worried I may have left it too late originally to look too ☹️

will do another test tomorrow with first wee of the day with the normal tests that I use and see if I get anything. Staying optimistic but also not getting hopes up just yet until I get that strong line straight away 🤍
