I got excited...test pic

I took a test, 11dpo...at 5 minutes I saw a shadow of a line.

Couldn't get a picture as the plastic casing was reflecting the light do took it out the case (I know it invalidates it)

Anyway, looks totally grey!

This is an evap or faulty test isn't it?

I'd say positive OP! The test out the casing doesn't invalidate it really, it's only a 'protective' plastic casing around a test strip (like the cheapies). Re-test again in the morning, best of luck!

Hard to tel from the pic if evap or bfp but the giveaway is if the line has any pink to it which may be easier to spot in person ? If so it's positive

I'd say it's quite grey in person!

If AF doesn't show I'll retest

If it’s grey and took 5 minutes I’d suggest it was an evap. It should be a colour. Take another test in a few days if AF doesn’t show

AF not due till tomorrow/Wednesday...I have a 16 day LP, so not yet. If nothing by Wednesday/Thursday I'll test

I had the exact same last week, on multiple FRER! So gutting isn’t it ☹️

Ah I'm sorry OP! Tests in general seem to be getting worse. The only ones I have relied on are easy@home which are good value for money too.

It's heartbreaking to have that little bit of hope!!!
