12dpo ?? EVAP

Ok so I know I need to re-test tomorrow but I'm impatient and very curious to what others think!

12 DPO, tested this morning with FMU

Checked the result after ~1min and it was negative. Got distracted with other children and husband leaving for the day.

Went to re-check after around 90 mins (I know, I know!!) and this is the result.

The line is very thin but is clearly blue, anyone had similar looking BFP from clear blue tests? Or do we think it's an evap line?

TIA :)

I’ve seen these results on here go both ways but think it’s a coincidence when it turns out it was positive as there’s so many that are evaps. These clear blue often have a very thin blue line after the timeframe. Doesn’t mean you’re not pregnant just means you shouldn’t look after the time is up. I would count this a void and test again tomorrow or even Monday as these aren’t designed to give an obvious line before 14dpo. They do with some people if they implant early but they aren’t designed to be used before 14dpo only early detection tests are.

It's an evap.
Piece of advice: do not use blue dye tests or FRERs.

Thanks, think I also agree it's a void test. It's actually a 6 days early response CB so think by now the line should be much darker if it was a true positive!

Thanks for the advice, unfortunately there's not much choice locally for alternatives!

Easy at home strips - very reliable and cheap ☺️

Happinessandrainbows · 21/01/2023 11:37

P.s. I'd buy them on the Amazon! X

allgoodthings84 · 21/01/2023 12:01

I’ve had no issue with frers but then I wait until 14dpo (day after my AF is due) so there’s an obvious line

allgoodthings84 · 21/01/2023 12:03

I buy my frers from a shop thiugh. I’ve seen that a lot of the evap frers are from Amazon. No idea if they produce different batches for Amazon as they are cheaper or something

Do you find that the easy@home tests give evap lines?

Never.
And I took TONS of them.
I was pregnant three times (one of them was successful) and they picked up each time. Months I wasn't pregnant the lines were always stark white.
One of pregnancies was chemical and easy at home picked that up (lines stopped darkening) before other tests.

Sorry I meant the tests were stark white
