Low bbt postpartum

I’ve started tracking my bbt again after having a baby a year ago and it seems incredibly low compared to what it was before conceiving the first time. Now it’s high 35- low 36 before ovulation whereas before it was low 36 - mid 36 ish before ovulation. I use my Apple Watch to track and before I was using oral temps. Not sure if my period has returned yet or not (I had a few days of spotting at the beginning of the month). I am still breastfeeding my first child and waking multiple times throughout the night so don’t know if that’s affecting it. I’m just nervous about it affecting our chances when we come to conceive again.

Hello!

very Late reply, but in case it helps :-)

I’d say it’s your watch. I am also temping again post baby, also swapped to apple watch and also still feeding!

my temps are coming out lower, and just all over the place. There is a pattern, but it’s much harder to discern. But judging by LH tests, CM and pain I am ovulating!

FWIW my period came back at 22 months - but I have a boob monster child!! Plus we bedshare and baby(toddler)wear a lot, plus my body is really sensitive to these things.
