Hello ladies

I've been working myself up into such an anxious weepy mess over ttc. I took a break in December and the RELIEF I felt was amazing. All the pressure was off. Now, back at it, I've just cried in my DHs arms because this is all making me so upset and disappointed. I'm even questioning if this is even worth it because it's effecting my every day life.

How do you cope? For context we've been ttc since April 2022 and have had CPs in March, May and June.

Hi @JuniperandI
Just know that you are not in this alone.

I have reached out to my GP for help with the extreme anxiety I feel about TTC. I have my first appointment tomorrow with someone who is going to try to help me put things into place to deal with the pressure and anxiety I feel on an almost daily basis. I've also asked her for tips on how to stop bursting into tears everytime AF is due or a baby comes on TV. Please reach out to your GP or your local mindsmatter for help.

It's a hard journey this TTC business but you are not alone, we are all here to support you. Also sounds like your DP is supportive which helps massively.

Happy for you to DM me if you need to rant or rave about how unjust it all is xx

I don't know what to tell you other then hang in there . It took me 13 months to get pregnant with my little boy and I had two miscarriages a long the way.

I think it's a shock to the system when you start trying because you spend your whole life being told be careful use contraception it's so easy to get pregnant - turns out it's not

The month I fell pregnant I'd all but given up hope stopped tracking didn't check my dates just went with the flow and tried to enjoy time with my partner again rather than there being so much pressure

What I will say is when it does happen for you and you have a little bubba you'll look back and think it was worth it

My little man is nearly 2 now and we've been trying again for nearly a year and nothing but I live in hope

Good luck stay positive

Thank you both ❤

I've referred myself for some therapy, and the OPKs are being stuffed away in a drawer for now. I'm going to go back to just listening to my body for a couple of months, and also not test until my period is late.

Thanks again, your stories have made me feel less alone.
