Clearblue advanced/digital - 2 different results?!

Hi everybody,

So I am TTC. Today is CD 12. my cycles are a bit irregular and are between 30 days min to 35 days av (sometimes 40!)
last month was 30 days.

Im 40...
I tested with CB advanced OPK and got a flashing smiley on monday (cycle day 9!). I tested with another and got a circle.
Again tuesday - same result - one was a flashing smiley, the other one was a circle
again yesterday and again today!

The issue is, my oh and i work really long shift hours, so DTD is difficult in the week so I am trying to time all this right.

What would you do?
I dont have loads of clear egg white cm. i have a bit of cm, looks clear -ish.

anyone else have this experience?

Are you using two different ovulation predictor test kits?

The first day of testing will always be a blank circle as they need to find your base level of hormones and then they turn to flashing when they see the levels increase.

When did you start testing with the one that was flashing?

Is it your first month TTC? You can have flashing for days before you ovulate?

I'd do every 2/3 days in possible and then once it's static do that day and day after. Although don't put too much pressure on it. It only takes 1 and long as you DTD the day it's static you'll be covered x

ok thanks using 2 tests to double check as i had one and lots left over from previous times trying. but i just dont know why theyare showing different results, both used now for 3 -5 days so shoudl surely show smiley flashing instead of flashing smiley for 5 days on one and blank circle for 3 days.

So today the second test was a flashing smiley showing peak
How many days of peak did you guys get?
We want to dtd as close to o as possible without too much dtd ... we are both shift workers with other dd!

Got a solid smiley today and dtd
But just once... I hope it works
