Hi Ladies,

Me and FH have decided to start TTC. He has one DC already and I have none.

Do any of you have any tips for starting out please? I'm pretty clueless to be honest, my cycles have always been irregular and I've been in the mini pill for some years.

If you want chart your cycles to see if you can pinpoint ovulation.

Main advice though is to try not to go nuts and don't test until your period is late.

Do you track your cycles?

All I would say is get some ovulation tests, start them on cycle day 7 and test through until you get an idea of your ov days. Then you can test for a shorter period. Try have sex a few days before ov, during, and/or the day after.

@GoT1904 I have an app that I use for cycles but even before BC my cycles were all over the place, so I do have some concerns as my periods used to be very far apart, I had tests done and they said its fine so I'm praying it was just a iffy thing at the start that's sorted itself.
