implantation bleeding help!!!

my first post on here but needed a little advice.
i ovulated on the 2nd and BDd in the days leading up.
on tuesday, 9dpo, i started noticing brown mucus on the tissue after i wiped. it’s continued for 3 days now and it’s been switching between brown and pink mucus and only ever small amounts when wiping. this evening it has turned more of a bright red colour, still in small amounts. i’m just wondering if this could still be implantation bleeding or if af is likely to come?

what made me think it’s implantation is just because it started 6days before af is due and i’m pretty regular and the spotting lasted for three days whereas with af i usually have a day maximum of brown spotting and then start heavy the following day.
alongside the spotting i’ve been so nauseous and my boobs are so tender which isn’t usual with af

is there such thing as failed implantation that would cause these symptoms?

Hi OP - this just happened to me and I've spent the last few days trawling mumsnet threads for some hope!

My conclusion is that it really could go either way, many threads say people thought they had an early period but it was implantation and many say it was random early spotting that turned into a period.

In my case I've just had my period this morning, after three days of spotting (I have NEVER spotted before my period!) Nausea and sore boobs.

I really think TTC makes our bodies play tricks on us!

Certainly sounds like it could be! I had what was effectively day 1 of my period but I’d already had a positive test the day before, although faint. I then assumed this was a chemical. The bleeding was really quite substantial but turned brown by the next morning then dried up completely. I was so confused and had been round every possibility of what it could be. I was away onto looking into how fertile I’d be after a chemical etc. I left it two days and tested and the line was darker and I’m now pregnant! It’s really blown my mind that you can bleed like that and be pregnant so really anything is possible I’d say

Hello , I wonder if anyone experienced implantation bleeding before. I’ve had some blood tinged discharge today I’m supposedly due my period in 10 days but I haven’t successfully detected ovulation this month I think I started too late.

Hi I have been spotting since yesterday brown mainly when I wipe. Still the same today. I was 10 dpo yesterday period due Thursday. I had ovary twinges at 9 dpo. No other symptoms today. Normally I would bleed red today if AF? Confusing

I don’t have any advice unfortunately :( , but my blood comes when I go to the toilet it comes out but doesn’t show on a pad if that makes any sense

Similar to mine today. It appears as small brown spots on mini pad so far but just been toilet and nothing. Normally when I spot it starts to bleed heavy next day. Will see what tomorrow brings

I started spotting yesterday, range of colours/ heaviness, sorry if TMI.

I was 9dpo yesterday and AF due anytime between Fri and Mon. I've had spotting before, up to 3/4 days pre AF arriving. Thinking this is the start of AF but there's still that bit of hope!

This has happened to me this month started tracking ovulation on OPK from CD10, all negative CD17-CD22 flashing smiley.. then on CD 22 I had brown CM, which wasn’t heavy enough for pad, nothing overnight sunday there was a little bit then nothing overnight only seemed to be when I wiped. Took a test BFN, really confused as to what this could be , randomly decided to start testing again 5 days later with clear blue OPK and a new holder, obviously first test was low fertility next morning (on what would have been CD28 of original cycle or CD7 if I classed mini bleed as AF) I got a static smiley! And have had the following results on easy @ home! So confused as to what is going on x

11 dpo bfn but still very light spotting barely nothing 😩😩

I remember doing the deed with my partner then a week or so later i woke up and it was like a pinky/brown discharge I thought it was my period as sometimes my body does this a few week later I didn’t have a long bleed or my usual cramps and found i was pregnant with my little girl ❤️

@Luckystar7jf me too - tested this morning at 11dpo and bfn! Spotting has stopped for now though.
AF due Fri-Mon. What about you?

I am due between today and Thursday but my cycles are irregular tested with FR so know I am out. Feeling sad but need to be positive x

Definitely feeling out this month - after what I thought was implantation bleed on 9dpo and extremely sore boobs , I've now had this bfn today and sore boobs almost completely gone.
Still googling like mad though as to whether I could still get a bfp.
Trying to put it out of my mind and concentrate on enjoying my bday next month and a holiday then I'll go again.
At 43 I wouldn't have thought it'd happen on my first cycle but there was always hope 😀

what a confusing one it was!
i really don’t get what was going on there i was almost positive it was implantation bleeding but i came on SO heavy on saturday.
i did wonder because i have been pregnant before and all i had was a little spot of blood in my pants maybe 10dpo and no blood when wiping and went on to have a missed period.

what dpo are you? for my last pregnancy i was still only getting extremely faint lines 4 days past a missed period
