Hi,I don't know if I am posting in the right place as this is my first post,
Me and My husband are ttc baby no.3
I'm 26,my husband is about to turn 30.
We have a 7 year old and a 5 year old.
Since 3 weeks after my first child was born,I went on nexplanon implant in my arm.I had that out 11 months later so we could ttc baby no 2. I forgot to mention since I started My periods they were very heavy,so after the implant came out they came back very regular on the same date each month and heavy,we conceived on the 3rd month ( same with my first pregnancy) after my 2nd baby was born I went straight back onto the nexplanon implant again 3 weeks later, had it out a year and half later,same heavy normal periods and went on the pill. Last year 2021 in May I went back onto the nexplanon implant again ( at the time we wasn't planning any more baby's so I wanted something more permanent) my husband finally agreed to having 1 more baby back at the end of September, I had the implant out 3rd of October, but I wanted to give my body a bit of a rest after 5 years on contraception so we decided to use condoms for a few months. I forgot to mention this time on the implant my periods have been very light, and 3 to 4 days.
Back at the end of November I decided to go back on the pill temporarily ( sorry for the confusion ) because I just couldn't deal with condoms and they was hurting me every time we would try to have sex, I was on the pill from 29th November until I think about 8th,9th December can't remember exactly,when we decided we would Ttc now.
I had what I think was a withdrawal bleed from the pill on the 16th December lasting again only 3 to 4 days and light. my periods since having the implant removed was 18th October,16th November,16th December so regular but light.
I was expecting to come on my period again 16th January,however on the 10th January I started bleeding, I'm on day 3 now and it's practically nothing just spotting, the first 2 days was only light bleeding.
I'm getting concerned now that something isn't right as the last 2 times I've come of contraception I've had heavy periods,unless it's because I've been on contraception for 5 years this time ( the longest I've ever had) and also because I've messed my body up with taking the pill for 2 weeks.
I'm just worried with these light periods I won't be able to conceive again and that there is something wrong, I'm usually a full 5 to 6 days heavy and going through a lot of pads but since having the implant in last year they've been very light like this and 2 to 3 days long,and it seems to be the same now I've had it out,I'm also just a bit confused as to why my period was a week early I guess I am getting a period regularly every month though so that is something even if it is light.
Any advice would be great or if anyone has been through anything similar.
