Hello! Im a long time reader first time posting here .
After trying to conceive for 14 months, I think I can see a second line... I would love to hear if you think can see it too!!
We have our first appointment at a fertility clinic in 4 days and hoping it won't be necessary after all ❤️

Line Eyes please! 7dpo after 14 months ttc

@River30 Hey! Really hoping this is your BFP. I’m currently 6-7 Dpo and resisting testing until 10 dpo (hopefully! 😅)

River30 · 13/01/2023 20:07

Hi @Wonkyjelly thank you!
I got another very faint line yesterday afternoon (8dpo) but it was lighter that 7DPO.
I know they say to use FMU but it turns out that for me, my faint lines show up in the evening.

Good on you for holding out, I caved early because I felt weird (a restless night's sleep feeling very hormonal, cramping). Please let me know how you go! How long have you been ttc?

If you're testing before AF, for some reason the lines seem stronger in the evenings. I got all of my best lines before bed lol. Good luck!!! It sounds hopeful xx

Hey @River30 I caved tonight and there was absolutely nothing for me on my frer or a cheapie one step. Your images definitely look promising 🤞🏼 such an agonising wait isn’t it? I’ve had some cramps this evening but nothing too painful. Implantation usually takes place 6-12 days after ovulation so I’m just going to try wait patiently 😂😅

I tracked my periods for about 6 months before we started trying, we already have 2 older children, this is our first month of trying. To be honest I don’t know what to expect, I’m older than I was 8 years ago with my first, but both pregnancy’s I fell first time trying 😅 I think I’m just being optimistic. We dtd pretty much every night for a solid 7 days too 😂 I’m knackered now!

my Flo app says my period is due on 20th 21st or 22nd. It originally said due 21st and ovulation on 03rd. But I had a positive opk on 6th but only for about 6-8 hours then it went back to being faint. I also had a lot of egg white discharge. So I’m unsure if I ovulated after (mainly because my OPK went faint by the evening of 6th.

anyway, I’m waffling on! How about you? How long have you been ttc? X

Hi @GoT1904 wow that's so interesting to hear, thanks for sharing!

@Wonkyjelly I really admire people who can wait to test! I don't have the patience. Sorry to hear that your test was negative although of course you still never know how the cycle will turn out ❤️ if your opk was positive on the 6th sounds like you would have ovulated roughly on the 7th? Have you ever tried BBT charting? It's been so helpful for me as i have irregular cycles and I've been able to pinpoint ovulation using OPKs and BBT charting. I can ovulate anywhere from day 17 to day 25 of my cycle so it's been so helpful.

. Amazing that you conceived twice on the first go!! I really hope everything goes smoothly this time around too.

I've been TTC for 14 or 15 months, this is the first time I've seen anything at all on a test so fingers crossed.

@River30 i haven’t tried BBT. I will look into it, yes very lucky. I had a miscarriage last year - we weren’t trying at the time so was a bit of a shock and then another shock on top.

I hope so much this is your BFP 🙌🏻✨❤️

I’ve always had my highest hcg levels in the afternoon so it could be that. It’ll be very early days if you are. I got a positive at 12dpo with my second and it was a decent line but would have been mega faint at 8dpo. Sending you all the luck!

River30 · 13/01/2023 23:02

@Mostwonderful interesting!
I have a 12 day luteal phase, 9dpo now and will test this evening 🤞

Any updates? 🤞🤞🤞

River30 · 15/01/2023 05:38

Hi @Panauraisin
Currently 10DPO and the lines have gotten progressively more faint. My assumption is that it's unfortunately a chemical pregnancy

crispsandcoke · 15/01/2023 05:49

Have you tried second morning wee? Mine were stronger with second morning wee...

River30 · 15/01/2023 06:19

Hi @crispsandcoke yes I have tried it, I actually have only been testing positive in the afternoon/evening though

SarahShorty · 22/08/2023 11:19

Hey, OP xx what was the outcome?

River30 · 22/08/2023 21:29

Hi @SarahShorty
It was most likely a chemical pregnancy, probably in my fallopian tubes.

I had a laparoscopy after this and they found lots of endometriosis and blocked fallopian tubes. I've just done my IVF egg retrieval and have 4 good embryos frozen, and I'm excited to transfer one in my next cycle

@River30 Oh I'm sorry 😞 Good luck for your next cycle xx
