WTH is going on...

I'll try to keep this brief.

Not actively trying but keep a rough note on a app of symptoms and period tracking.

My cycles range from 28 - 31 days (have tracked for many years) . But typically I'm a 28 day cycle.

Based on that my ovulation would have been on 23rd Dec, but realistically could have been from then to 26th based off my longest cycles. On my app however I recorded no usual signs of ovulation (crazy discharge, one sided pain etc) until the 28th.

DTD unprotected on 29th and 30th.

With all that in mind I thought AF was due on 6th Jan (based of a 28 day cycle) Did a test on 2nd that showed a really faint line on FRER that I assumed was a evap line as it was outwith the time frame by a lot. Clear blue tests on 3rd, 4th and tonight came back negative. 6th came and went with no AF which is why I started looking at dates and trying to work things out.

Anyone help me work out what could be going on here as my heads muddled...

If my ovulation symptoms showed up late I assume its likely I ovulated late.. How long does the egg white discharge etc stay for after ovulation?

Its doubtful I'm pregnant, right? So what's causing the missing AF?

I'm crazy nauseated, have been for a week. For the past two days I've had dizziness and been lightheaded to point of lying down until it passes. Also my cervix is WAYY high to the point I can't feel it.

If indeed you ovulated on the 28th, then your egg could have still been in your system waiting to be fertilised; they live for a little while after being released. Also, if that is the case youre 12DPO. The 6th would have made you only 9dpo. How long is your luteal phase normally?

If you ovulated late then your AF will come late too so wouldn’t be 28 days. It’s always the same amount of time between ovulation and AF. It could be that AF will be along soon or that you’re pregnant but too early to show on a test.

As you dtd on 29th and 30th to be pregnant you must have ovulated 28th-5th. If you ovulated any sooner then your dtd would have been too late as after ovulation the egg only lasts 12-24 hours so has to be fertilised in this time. So latest you could be is 12dpo so possibly too soon to show up on a clear blue. A frer would likely show a line now but on the second the latest you wouldn’t have been is 5dpo so it wouldn’t have been a bfp then.

I would try a frer or wait a couple more days for AF.

My luteal phase is usually 13-15 days roughly.

With my two previous pregnancies I got my BFP on 9 and 11 DPO.

I'm assuming not pregnant and just AF missing in action but doesn't explain how rubbish I feel but that could just be a bug I guess.

BFN with FMU today using a clear blue rapid detection.

Real uncomfortable cramps throughout the night and this morning.

So done with this now. Come on body a answer would be nice.

Update.

Still no AF. Brown discharge tinged with red / pink yesterday and a tiny bit this morning.

FRER negative within the timescales.

Eugh. Feel like my body is having a right laugh at me right now.

Sometimes our cycles can be off for no clear reason. It’s frustrating though. Hope AF comes soon so you can get back to normal

@Twoinapod I'm just ready for clean slate so to speak. In limbo land and feel quote poorly anyway so my heads all up and down atm
