TWW Cycle buddies AF due around 20/01

Anyone fancy keeping me company (sane 😅) during this dreaded TWW on our 5th cycle of TTC baby #2 after falling quick with our first I thought this would be easier! Feel free to give all symptoms and feelings etc! I’ve just purchased a BBT thermometer so starting that in the morning! By checking my cervix (feels slightly lower and firmer) and CM drying up slightly thinking the worst for this month already 😢

Please can I join this thread. I’ve not been counting DPO until around 3 hours ago… I had the weirdest twinging pain in my left ovarian region…. So I took a look at my app and saw I’m 8dpo, I’m not obsessing whether that is implantation cramping, we’ve been out for dinner and I’ve been having niggling pains all night.
AF due 20-22nd so going to hold out until next weekend to do a test I think, I can’t cope with the disappointment again this month.

Bit of background, if anyone interested 🤣 I've got a 10yr old DD already, but had bad PND so said no more but I think something kicked in recently that my time might soon be up ie menopause and suddenly here I am TTC.

I'm only going to try for a few months though because I turn 44 next month. If its meant to happen it will. I'm not tracking temp or using ovulation kits, what will be will be.

Period due next weekend so trying to hold out testing till then.

@Ncl31 I’m 9dpo today and AF due Tuesday/ poss Wednesday so we’re on similar days.

Woke up bloody boiling again, 36.84c same as yesterday. I’m 10dpo today. So jumped up and did a test.
I took the bottom one and got this vv faint greyish line. Didn’t get this yesterday- only when I held it at a weird angle- so I did a different brand, which I got nothing at all from yesterday. Same weird grey line.
Am I going mad?

And that is definitely a bit of fluff on the picture not a pube…. Probably… 😂

@ttcat37 i can see something. Only thing I can suggest is to wait a few days and test again.

Thanks everyone! Did another test this morning just to be sure (as you do) and got one left so might as well use that in the morning. Hopefully this is a very lucky thread indeed!

@ttcat37 they look promising, especially the second one. I did an easy@home one at 11dpo and it looked very similar. Fingers crossed for you!

@Ncl31 @northernmam @Banditrules thank you guys. I’m not telling my DH yet after last month’s chemical. AF not due till Tuesday and still getting those weird pre period aches.

I’d be the same @Banditrules. It must be amazing looking at a digital and it saying pregnant.

I don't blame you, I'm pretty sure I had one in August 2020 when we were TTC our 2nd baby (but didn't know what they were at the time). Hope you get your BFP in the next few days. I'm not due on my period until Friday/Saturday and the wait is awful xx

I'm convinced AF is imminent - even though a bit early yet - but I was freezing yesterday and boiling today which is usually a telltale sign for me.

More vague shadows for me this morning 🙄

@ttcat37 those tests aren’t the most sensitive are they? Maybe wait a couple days and try a more sensitive test?

@Banditrules I’ve tried dipping one in water to see if I get these lines and they’re stark white, nothing. I’d hope for a better line though at 11dpo than these 🫠

@ttcat37 this was my IC on Thursday so I was 12dpo at the time, it wasn’t super strong at all.

It is annoying though, almost feel like you’re in limbo - unsure if you’re getting your BFP or not.

I've had a couple of days of on off bleeding but AF not due for approx 6/7 days. Thinking I'm out now for this month as this has happened with AF before. I'm about 10dpo today

@chezvic I’m 11dpo. My cycles are about 27 days, so due tomorrow or weds, but I had a chem last cycle which lengthened my period a bit and I ovulated 2 days later than normal, so it’s all a bit uncertain as I don’t know if my cycle will be a bit longer. The tummy ache is stopping me from getting excited!

Could your bleeding have been implantation? About the right time?

@ttcat37 at 11dpo it probably would be a really faint line wouldn't it? So all still looking good for now.

Maybe implantation? Don't think I had that with my first pregnancy but I didn't even know it was a thing then 🤣
I keep wondering if it is but then trying not to get my hopes up. Its going to be a long week

@chezvic I’m not sure. There’s a thing online where you can see what % of people have a positive on however many DPO and 11DPO is like 65%. So I’d hope for a stronger one but like you say, hopefully not out.

I don’t think implantation bleeding is super common, i hadn’t heard of it either but it does happen so, until AF comes you’re not out either.
