Feeling really disheartened, as usual I thought this would be the month. Been trying for 8 months now. I also thought my cycles were becoming more regular but I came on at 8DPO. I don't see how this could be long enough for implantation to ever happen.

I've had day 5 and 21 bloods and get the results next week. Had an ultrasound that was normal. Husband has agreed to have a check up too to rule anything out.

Feeling sad 😞

I feel for you as it's so frustrating. It took me 2 years to eventually concieve and I felt as if it would never happen. 8 months will feel long but hang in there. I used to get pissed off when people said forget about It and relax but then the one month I did that (not intentionally) boom pregnant. Fingers crossed it works out for you

I’m in the exact same boat funnily enough, coming up 9 months TTC and AF came today after a few days of brown spotting. Today is also 8 DPO for me. Cycles vary from 21 days to 31. I have had bloods and ultra sound scan done and all normal. So although I’m also the in the same clueless frustrated boat as you, I just wanted to let you know you’re not alone 🫂 I’ve actually booked a private fertility clinic appointment in the hope to get more answers. I have my own theory that it’s implantation that fails and leads to earlier AF, as I have never spotted like this before TTC but I could be talking absolute nonsense 😂 do you get spotting too?

My fingers are crossed it all works out for you and your bloods and tests go well 🤞

Hi
Thanks for the reply. That’s strange we’re so similar! That’s reassuring everything came back normal, did you get any advice or reassurances about the short luteal phase, as this is what I’m worried about!
I think we’re nearing the point of getting some private help depending on how my GP apt goes this week. Good luck for the next cycle 🤞🏻

@windsor22 I haven’t managed to get any answers from GP regarding short luteal phase. They’re happy tests came back normal. I decided to book a consultation with a private fertility clinic in the hope to get some more answers / solutions 🤞the fertility clinic on the NHS is currently a 60 week wait in my area and I don’t think I can do this monthly rollercoaster for that length of time 😅

Wishing you the best luck for next cycle 🙂
