Hi everyone

Would appreciate thoughts!

I did clear blue opk on 23 December and got peak
I did a different clear blue opk on 24 December and got peak
We dtd morning 25 December when oh returned from work late 24 December so couldnt do it then!

So today is around 12-14 dpo
I've been testing with frer and nothing yet! I thought I saw the smallest line yesterday but maybe not

My cycles are long and a bit unpredictable so it's hard to know but I'd say AF almost definitely due in the next 1-6 days

Otherwise, I have clear light discharge, cervix is back and medium soft/hard

I had quite noticeable cramps like period pain 3 days ago.

Do you think it's certain I won't have conceived this cycle? I'm a bit confused as my
Period tracking app
Predicted it came yesterday and it didn't-but frer keeps being negative!

Actually I guess I'm 14 dpo today if I ovulated on 24th
And 13 days since dtd

So probably would be positive on a test as sensitive as frer with fmu wouldn't it?

Anyone?

Unlikely if you know your exact dates as to when you ovulated and it is negative today. 14 DPO would usually show a positive test but not sure about long cycles. Mine are 26-28 days.

stopeatingchocolate · 07/01/2023 15:01

I definitely know when I got the positive ovulation test/ peak result!

If you ovulated on 24th then you may have been a tiny bit too late dtd on 25th as you’re only fertile for 12-24 hours after you ovulate and the speak has to get to the egg and fertilise it within this time too. If yours was closer to 12 hours it would have been too late. Did you dtd before ovulation at all?

if a frer is negative at 14dpo I would say you’re probably not pregnant. Even my 2 chemical pregnancies had a very obvious line at 14dpo even though fainter than expected they were very obvious lines

You’re not out until your period arrives! I am 10dpo (think I ovulated 28/12)
and still negative tests as yet.

stopeatingchocolate · 07/01/2023 20:12

Thank you
And best of luck @Mrsrobinsonx !
I do fear I am out the game but who knows...
With my others I think by now it was a clear positive on frer
I'm glad I've finished my pack of tests as i alway want to test knowing they're in the house!
Will wait for af-and anything else is a pleasant surprise!!!!

im 11 DPO and BFN , I feel even tomorrow will be BFN too!

Rowen32 · 25/01/2023 22:25

I think you'd be getting a positive by now, I think you were too late trying this particular time unfortunately..

Can anyone help - Im around 9 dpo. I never noticed implanatation pain before. i had mild cramping yesterday and. slight today which was like usual AF cramps across my lower belly. But right now its on my right side, lower side of my pubic bone, and quite painful. It started feeling twingey but now is really painful. Can anyone advise? Is this normal or is it ectopic? Its also slightly on my lower back on the same right side. I didA frer but it was negative thank you.

@stopeatingchocolate
I’m not sure about feeling implantation, I know some women definitely get cramps/aches etc

my doctor said to me before that they usually wouldn’t know about an ectopic until much later (6/7 weeks) when it gets bigger then it causes problems so you wouldn’t be getting pain already if it was that I don’t think, x

stopeatingchocolate · 30/01/2023 20:22

Thank you. That is reassuring x

There wouldn’t be any way to tell if it’s ectopic at 9dpo it would be too early for pain to be because of that. If you’re pregnant or not time will tell 😊 if it’s implantation then you should test positive 1-2 days after.

stopeatingchocolate · 30/01/2023 21:03

Thanks everyone. strangely its now gone away - so perhaps it was?!? will try stop myself testing tomorrow... and test onwednesday instead. so hard!
