Faint line…?

Hi everyone. My first post so please be kind. I am currently 3 days late… done an early detection test 6 days before my period was due and it was a clear negative. Tested a few days later and it was the same. Done a test this afternoon and this was the result… what do you think? Thanks in advance

I can definitely see a faint line !!! I'm my opinion that's a BFP !! Keep us posted !!

Could your dates be off? I'd be worried about a chemical if it's that faint 3 days late.

Hi. I was the same. Faint positive at 8dpo. We have been trying for a while so thought it would never happen. Got my bfp yesterday and these today. Congratulations.

It worries me that I’m 4 days late but the line is still faint. Buying a week detection test today. Thanks everyone x

@Lehcar1991 I’m kind of in the same situation. Tomorrow I’ll be 3 days late. Tested on day of expected period and was negative. I think having to wait a while for a positive is actually more common than we think though? Plenty of online articles/forums do suggest waiting till your period is 5 days late for accurate results. I have some symptoms but still no spotting which I usually get pre period. This test definitely looks positive though!

@dreaminginvintage its so strange I’m the same. I usually have a bit of spotting by now. Im going to do a clear blue test in a minute. Will update with the outcome. All the best to you xx

I’m soooo scared at the minute. I hope things change soon… after I had my little girl 5 years ago I had severe post natal depression and I’m so scared it’ll come back with baby number 2. Can you or anyone offer any advice please? Thanks so much x

@Lehcar1991 I’m really sorry to hear that! I don’t have any personal experience with it as I don’t have children, but I do know of women who went through it the first time round and didn’t experience it with their next babies.

Congratulations, because you had PND ( as did I) the HC providers will keep an eye out for it and you will also be more aware of symptoms this time round. Don't fret enjoy your pregnancy.

Hey OP! I had a faint line until about 6 days late for my period and I am now 11 weeks pregnant so try not to worry xx

took a test last night (clear blue) was a very faint line.

took a test today (not sure of the brand, just picked up what they had at the shop)
no line.

what do people think?

@Rourkey It could be that the clearblue one is a lot more sensitive, so can pick up the hcg hormone that the cheaper one can't. Give it a couple of days and then test again. Good luck!
