How long did you wait after miscarriage before ttc?

Hello all, I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks, the hospital said that after 2 weeks if a pregnancy test is negative then it's fine to start ttc again because ovulation will happen again before 1st period.

So at first I thought that was good hopefully not to have to wait too long but then I went onto Google and have read such conflicting advice about waiting for 3 months before trying to get womb fully healed being safer and then other articles saying you are most fertile the 3 months after so that's when to try.

I have no experience or knowledge of this one way or another so I wanted to ask any ladies what you did? How long you waited before ttc and conceiving and was everything ok?

Tried immediately, got pregnant but resulted in miscarriage. Then waited a couple of months and the same happened again. Waited nearly a year then was successful.

I tried immediately and was successful, it's perfectly safe according to my midwife, as long as there was no reason you had a miscarriage instead first case.

About 2 weeks! Got pregnant immediately afterwards and I’m now 21 weeks 🤞

The nurse at the hospital told me to wait a year to allow myself to grieve for my loss. I was nearly 42 and didn't feel that I had time on my side for that, I was already panicking that the miscarried pregnancy was my last chance. Started trying straight away and conceived four months later. My rainbow baby is now 3 years old. There were no problems with the pregnancy.

I tried immediately after my 11 week miscarriage. I got pregnant next cycle which I’m grateful for but it was kind of rough being pregnant for a whole year more or less. With hindsight it might have been healthier to wait a bit

I waited 3 months because I personally needed that time to recover. Conceived right away when started trying again.

I was advised to wait until after my first period by the staff at epu, I didn’t do that but didn’t concieve that cycle anyway, it was a weird cycle don’t think I even ovulated. Fell pregnant on the 3rd cycle of trying, good luck☺️

Tried straight after first period and got pregnant but unfortunately another mc.

Been trying since 2nd mc and 6 months in no bfp.

The hospital told me there was no increased chance of a second miscarriage after having one but obviously it is a worry and I wonder how true that is and worry about rushing into this and it happening again because my body wasn't ready, but at the same time I feel I really want to be preg again as soon as I can.

I wanted to try immediately after but realised I am just too sad and needed time to recollect myself.

My doctor told me to wait one cycle to give my body a restart and also because It is easier for tracking pregnancy if I know when my last period was (as miscarriages doesn't count). At the time I realised that if I wanted to do it immediately, I can just track ovulation which will help with the pregnancy math.

I conceived 4 months later.

I started trying again a week after my miscarriage we are hoping for a rainbow baby soon am getting symptoms but am too scared to take a test tho cause I lost my last baby
