Hello everyone.

me and my partner have been trying for a baby for 18 months and it just isn’t happening.
We are both under 30. I have had a child before, partner has not.

im thinking about seeing a doctor but I have bad experiences with them before so was wondering what happens when you first speak to them about trying to conceive? Do they first try medications etc or is it straight into loads of testing?

thank you :)

Blood tests
seamen analysis
ultra sound of uterus etc…

then referral to fertility specialist

well that’s what’s happened to me so far. We’re not eligible for free ivf as already have kids, so not sure what the specialist will offer - our appt is end of jan
