NYE drinking and TTC

Was just after some advice, past experience..

I am about 6/7dpo and am on my way to a nye party this eve.
I don't know if i am pregnant or not, I have a feeling we might have got lucky after our chemical but unsure yet until AF is missed.

Is it stupid to drink or is it okay to have a few? I want to enjoy myself but am unsure if I should drink.

Thank you in advance and happy new year 💫 wishes for 2023.

As someone who is six months pregnant after a previous miscarriage I would say go and have a good time. Even though I desperately wanted to be pregnant again I decided I wouldn’t give up on the occasional fun night and through miscalculating when I was ovulating and when I COULD be pregnant, I had two big nights between conception and finding out.

Personally I don’t think it’s a great idea to put your life on hold when ttc unless you have specific, diagnosed problems.

My opinion?! Have the drinks! There are soooo many babies born to people who had massive nights out before they knew they were pregnant! If it's really concerning then just have a couple!

I had lots of IVF and MC and went through years of drinking nothing caffeinated, nothing alcoholic, drinking pineapple juice and all the 'stuff' they tell you to do and none of that worked! The only cycle that did was the one where I just cracked on with normal life!

Have a drink. Your life doesn't stop. X

I agree with other posters, enjoy your night and have a few drinks. Wishing you baby dust for the new year 🎉

Drink. It won't impact on whether you are pregnant yet or not (may not have implanted yet, even if you do end up pregnant this cycle!)

Have a good NYE and good luck with your TTC journey!

Thanks all, really helped my worries. I think my nerves are from my chemical a couple months ago so questioning everything in the tww without trying to obsess.

I am going to have a few drinks, see in 2023 and wish for a healthy baby next year 😊
