Anyone know any old wive tales about postions for conceiving girls? We'd really like a girl as we already have ds. I'd seen them somewhere before but cant find them now

Apparently the women takes the passive position i.e. on her back and doesn't have an orgasm.

For a boy women more aggressive and has an orgasm, oh doggy style supposed to be good for boys.

The theory is that boy sperm swim faster but die quicker and having a orgasm sucks the sperm up towards the egg faster. For conceiving a girl you want the boy ones to die out first leaving the stronger girl ones behind.

Also timing of sex is the biggie, 4-5 days before ovulation for a girl then stop BDing, for a boy at the time of ovulation.

i tried all the 'boy' positions when TTC my DD and they didnt work obv as she isnt a boy i think it is luck of the draw but have fun trying though
