tested early barely visible faint line that really was barely there - does it mean anything?

Ok i tested at 10po (well the equivalent as I had IVF) with a First Response. Unless I looked very very very carefully in bright light it looked blank but there was the faintest grey line.

Does that mean anything. It wasn't an evaporation line as it was less than 10 mins.

With ds I first tested at 11days and I think the line was very very faint that day but slightly pink and a bit darker than this one was.

I don't think I can wait 2 days to do another.

I wonder if it is really a negative as First Response would have showed up something??

i think as the line was grey and not pink that it isnt a reliable result iyswim. i would wait another day or two and test again with FMU (sorry if you wanted to hear something else) iv got my fingers crossed for you getting a proper BFP the next time you test though

I did another one today and the line was still very faint but slightly pink and definitely more 'there' than yesterdays - I didn't have to hold it up to the light to see anything at all. But that might just be because I used FMU.

On the one hand it is only day 11 but on the other the FR tests are meant to be very sensitive.

Will have to buy more pee sticks and see what tomorrow brings - last time the lines got progressively darker each day as HCG levels rose. If tomorrow's isn't darker I will start to get a bit worried!

What is FMU?

did the line appear within 10 mins? keeping everything crossed for you x

Took me a bit to work out the FMU thing too.

Yes it was well within 10 mins.

Trying not to drive myself mad symptom spotting!

it was VERY faint still though so will see what tomorrow's test brings.

Last time I had about 5 or 6 days' worth lined up on the window sill so I could compare lines and see if they were getting darker - costs a fortune!

im so happy for you SS you can put your feet up and relax with your little bean now its really nice to read about the successes from IVF my friend had her twins via IVF after 3 cycles and cant wait to try again

It is such an inspiration when IVF works if people are ttc. I know how it was before I had my ds (from my first cycle) - it can feel very isolating so always nice to hear of successes.
