Implantation bleeding?! Arghhh what is this!

I've been feeling exhausted the past few days with stomach cramps and a strange tooth/gum ache.

I'm ttc but this is the first official month ttc after trying a long time. Had surgery to sort my dodgy insides out and I have one blocked tube.

I've now just been to the toilet and I have brown discharge type blood in my pants... is this implantation bleeding?!!!!
I've always read that it tends to be light pink which this isn't - it's more of a dirty colour ?!

For context - I'd be about 8dpo ish. My last period was 8th December with a 34 day cycle length. My period is due 8th January according to my app.

I thought I had what was a period on 16th to 18th December and this week is my fertile week, yesterday being my Ov day. However I'm now questioning that, since this evening I've had super bad cramps in my lower stomach/pelvis and all round my lower back which have at times made me feel sick. Then I went to the toilet a few hours ago and only when wiping got brown discharge... I went again shortly after this and again had brown discharge only when wiping. Just been to the toilet now and nothing in my underwear but brown when wiping. I'm now questioning whether this is Implantation Bleeding 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

I had brown blood twice; I thought the first might be implantation bleeding (it was a light brown discharge, not much) but second was much more significant and was diagnosed as a sub chorionic haemorrhage.

I think you worry if it's brighter red? Hope you are OK anyway X

@AtomHeartMotherOfGod yes mine is very light brown "blood"... if you don't mind me asking? Did anything come of your first brown bleed or did it just happen then afterwards nothing came of it?

Nothing happened in both pregnancies- both resulted in healthy babies. It looked like a little brown smear on the toilet paper one day (around 9dpo) and then one slightly darker streak but still brown. Went away and all was OK.

The haemorrhage sounds worse than it is 😁 A bit of blood in the womb lining comes out when put under pressure. They're quite common causes of pregnancy bleeding.

I've had a bit more blood tonight when I've wiped - this was more red though :( I don't know what's going off with my body at this stage but 11 days before my period doesn't seem right at all :( feeling really down

Possibly yes. I'm also 9dpo today and trying to hold off to tomorrow when I'm going to test. Sounds promising though and would fit timing wise with implantation.

I've not had any bleeding, just some cramping that I'm definitely over-thinking! Really having to stop myself testing today. I've come away for new year with only one test so need to use it wisely!

Still slight brown spotting today - not much but it's mainly like stringy brown mucus?
Not feeling hopeful :(
