PCOS & Fertility

Hi, I had an appointment with my GP as me and my partner are looking to start our TTC journey. My GP sent me for PCOS and fertility blood tests last week.

I was advised to call my GP surgery for the results, however when speaking to the receptionist she said it stated on my notes that a GP appointment was needed and was unable to give me my results

I totally respect this, however, my appointment is not until 17th Jan 2023 and I can't bear the stress for the next few weeks of the unknown.

My question is, is this normal practice? Any other tests I've had the receptionist has been able to advise if the results came back normal etc.

I'm so stressed and worried that my results are going to give me the worst outcome.

Thank you
