TTC after mini pill

Hi everyone
just hoping someone has experienced something similar to what I’m experiencing now
me and my Husband are both 27 and TTC #2 I came off the mini pill on 10th Dec I had horrific pains in my pelvis after coming off and I’m certain I ovulated on 15th Dec from what my CM looked like (egg whites) me and hubby DTD around ovulation and since about 2dpo I have been getting pregnancy symptoms I am now 13dpo and symptoms seem to have gone anyway BFN on FRER but also no sign of AF coming. Maybe I was naive to think I would get pregnant straight away like I did with my daughter in 2019 I came off the combined pill to get pregnant with her and my periods returned like clock work but this time seems to be very different. Could someone please shed some light or tell me they experienced something similar ! So many horror stories on the internet!

I was on the mini pill but I came off it about 2 months before we TTC and we got pregnant on the second month of trying.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it not happening first go, thats pretty normal even if you haven’t been on the pill.

I would however be very wary of any pregnancy type symptoms you experience before your period is due. Normal hormones before your period is due can give very similar symptoms to pregnancy. Especially if you really want it to happen it’s easy to convince yourself of symptoms.

Thanks for replying i think you’re right about symptom spotting I’m turning into a mad woman I need to try forget about it . I just hope my period arrives soon so I know where about a I’m up to!

when I was on the pill if I took it a few hours late I would just start a withdrawal bleed but now I’ve come off it all together no sign of any withdrawal bleed or period it’s driving me insane . I just need to be patient and let nature take its cause
