TTC after ectopic and surgery

So short version, found out I was pregnant end of Sept, found out it was ectopic and had ruptured a couple of weeks later, had emergency surgery and a tube removed. Have now got past the Dr instructed 2 periods post op and can now try again.
Since my op it has been a real emotional roller coaster (unsurprisingly) but with a lot of support I feel like I am now ready to go back into the world of TTC (as does my partner, we've had a lot of talks about it all).
So I'm back and just wondering if anyone else has been through the same thing? Did you have any complications? Did you have another ectopic?
Mostly just looking for other people's experience or anyone else in the same boat.
I've been monitoring BBT, using OPKs, (mostly just for my own piece of mind since surgery to see if things are settling back to normal, as prior to my ectopic i had a period of time where AF just up and left for 3 months for absolutely no reason, cue the perimenopause fear as im almost 38 but it just seemed to be one of those weird anomalies) taking my vitamins (same as prior to the ectopic).
Sorry this ended up so long!

I had a chemical, followed by an ectopic treated with methotrexate. I was lucky in that my hcg went down quickly. Had to wait 3 months before TTC again and now have a 1 year old!

In all honesty my head was all over the place when I found out I was pregnant again. Every day I was convinced something bad was going to happen and it was so nerve wracking going for that first scan in case baby was in the wrong place again.

But, I had a very event free and healthy pregnancy 🙂

Really hope everything works out for you x

I had an ectopic, it ruptured, emergency surgery, tube removed accidentally got pregnant less than six weeks after it happened. Had DS. When he was six months old got pregnant with DD. 15 month age gap between them. Good luck OP. 🍀

Thanks guys, it's definitely reassuring to hear from people that have been in similar situations and had a positive outcome. It's so easy to get caught up in all the horror stories, as that's what people post about more. I know logically that I have a much higher possibility of a normal pregnancy than another ectopic (I already have DD who is a teenager and had another pregnancy that wasn't to be 6 or so years ago so I know it's possible for me) it's just hard to see that when this was all so unexpected!
