Under 26s TTC?

Hey ladies!

I’ve seen lots of threads for over 35s but none for under… I’m guessing that’s because it’s more unusual these days? Not intended to be discriminatory in any way, just rather nice to have a little community of likeminded people as the average age of a FTM has risen considerably.

After much discussion, myself and DP are hoping to TTC in 2023 starting at some point in the next few months. We have done everything we want to do and now feel ready to start our family. Our house is missing tiny footsteps and we are really excited.

It would be great to chat with others who are yet to embark on this journey!

Im 26 and ttc! Have been on the depo injection for about 2 years and came off about 7 months ago. Only recently having periods again and they are very irregular 🙄
I’m hoping to get pregnant soon and it’s something me and my partner really want 🤞🏼

Can I join? Not technically 26 but very recently turned 27!

Stopped my pill in October and this is first month proper TTC. Cycles are a little wonky, have had two since pill, first 27 days and second 38 days but pretty sure this was because my ovulation was later. Just going with the flow at the moment and not strictly tracking anything.

Seems like everyone around me is expecting (including brother in law and partner) which makes me every more broody!

It’s not that it’s uncommon, it’s that over 35’s can face more challenges conceiving than under and the thread may not be relevant to you.

@Sagittarius25 of course. That’s a really good idea. I think going with the flow can be better when you first start as then you’re not obsessing and stressing… it’s what we’re going to do at first! Know the feeling. There are so many people having babies at the minute, or maybe that’s just confirmation bias as we are excited to have our own!

@Babydust00 yes maybe it's the confirmation bias! Are you coming off any contraception to TTC?

i’m 25 and been TTC 1 since August when coming off the pill. I have very irregular cycles - currently CD75 with no sign of period.

Really hoping for a BFP in the new year as some of our friends and family are pregnant and be nice to share the experience. I have taken a break from tracking ovulation etc as feel with a cycle this long I may not be ovulating!

@AROSE9 welcome! Best of luck to you. Do you think the pill caused your cycles to be irregular? That happened with my friend, or so she said, but sometimes it takes a while for hormones to regulate doesn’t it

Hi!! I'm 23 and TTC baby number 2 now!
Currently 2 DPO so going to be a long week and a half for me!

How's everyone getting on where are we in our cycles atm?x

@Babydust00 yes I do! I'm hoping that they get back to normal soon - I'm taking conceive plus ovulation vitamins to help regulate them hopefully!
