I found out I was pregnant about 2 weeks ago. My last period started the 6th of November so I thought I was around 7 weeks pregnant. I booked for an early reassurance scan that was on Thursday as I'm a worrier and have been getting cramping feelings that aren't painful just uncomfortable when happens. The doctors said it was normal as long as there wasn't any bleeding and pain and things. When I've got for the scan they said I was only 5 weeks pregnant and it was 2 early to see a heartbeat so I'm booked back in for a rescan in 2 weeks time but I can't help worrying

Unless you were tracking ovulation then perhaps you ovulated late and the technicians measurements were slightly out.

Im sorry, it’s a tough wait.

You say you found out you were pregnant 2 weeks ago, so you would have been 4 weeks then?

If you've just had the scan you would have been about 6 weeks? It can be normal not to see a heartbeat at just 6 weeks.

However, if you were actually meant to be further along then I'm really sorry to say you may not get good news. I had this happen before - meant to be 7 weeks measuring 5. It was a blighted ovum sadly. Fingers crossed this won't be your experience.

I also found out I'm pregnant a week ago! So happy. But to reassure you - I also have the cramps, they feel like period cramps but it's only your body adjusting to get ready for baby so don't panic x
