Faint line or a shadow ?

My AF is late by 4 days. Did a test on my AF due day and it was a negative. Today I tested again and saw a very very faint line..
Not sure if it's a faint line or shadow ? Help please

Looks colourless to me I’m afraid. By this time you’d expect a blazing dark line.

Maybe test again using a different type of test if nothing in a day or two?

I do see a line but can't tell if it has colour 🤔 only thing is to test again in a day or two and see. I know of some people who don't get a positive test until nearly 10-14 days after their missed period, so don't lose hope just yet 🤞

I can see that OP, I'd say it's a very early +. Also not completely accurate about having a really positive test by the day AF is due, I have a short LP so I only get really faint + on the day AF is due or if you've implanted late it will make a difference too.

I would expect a very obvious line at this stage, OP.
Either you've implanted later than you thought or you're having a chemical pregnancy.

Can I ask how short your luteal phase is, I ovulated 11 days and my af is due today, I thought I had a faint line today but its so light, it looks like an indent. Trying to keep the hope alive

@Ella31 mine was usually 10 days so I always knew if I didn't have a (v faint) line the day before or the day of AF I was out. Can you get a photo of it or is it too faint? Best of luck!
