Using leftover IVF meds in a natural cycle?

Unfortunately, IVF hasn’t worked for me. I now know that I have some immune issues and a luteal phase defect. In other words, I need to be supported by progesterone and steroids.

However, as we can’t afford any more cycles we have essentially been left to get on with it.

I have leftover meds. WIBU to try and give my natural cycles a bit of a boost (increasing the odds), by using them?

Depends how infertile you are and your risk of multiples. If your unexplained it's risky as you could end up with multiples.

Oh, it’s not to stimulate the eggs - my problems lie after ovulation! It would be progesterone injections and steroids to lower my immune system.

Ah right go for it then no harm in trying I had all the immunes I was on pred, clexane, hydrochloriquine, thyroxin between cycles it won't do any harm.

@Toley did this make any difference? I'm at a similar stage. Ivf changed my luteal phase to a bleed on day 12 and I've never really had any other issues but I have left over progesterone and tempted to use on natural cycles before ivf again

Hi! It turned out I have advanced stage
rectovaginal endometriosis which caused the infertility and so all of this year so far has been having operations or on waiting lists for operations. Once I get it sorted I will absolutely use the progesterone on natural cycles!
